    Default Yay Another Music Thread!

So I got 50 dollars worth of iTunes songs for Christmas, and I do not know what to get. I do not like rap or hard rock, I already have every good classic rock stuff. Please Forumfall help me with your infinite knowledge of stuff.

This is the sort of stuff I listen to now.

If You Don't Love Me- Prefab Sprout

    Beautiful Ones- Suede

    Hayfever- Trashcan Sinatras

Don't Know Why (You Stay)- The Essex Green

    Listen to these
Alright, depending on what your into, for their more rock songs you want:
    Even Flow
    Alive
    Breath
Pearl Jam does some of my favourite slow songs of all time however. such as:
    Given To Fly
    Who You Are
    Yellow Ledbetter
Last Kiss (This is a cover, however it's their best selling single)

These are just personal favourites. every song on rearviewmirror is good though.

For the old Pearl jam, the l.p's/albums are/were fantastic. Ten being your staple one that most know of, Vs was alot more louder, a fantastic album. Vitalogy was pretty dark in respects, No code was a chilled and mature album - one of my favourites. After that most people know them, with Yield, binaural, then riot act. They used to play fucking hard, the scream on Vedder was insane. I miss those days, way back.

If it's for rock type stuff, in that scene have you looked at any Soundgarden? Mudhoney were pretty cool, or maybe even dig out some oldies, like The pixies?

Not been listening to much rock, so to speak, this being last thing i put on.

is it just guitar/rock you want to check out in general?

Definately. I miss those times. Soundgarden played fucking hard, Cornell had one hell of a voice on him back then.

ya man. It seems all that comes out today is either rap or rnb and a couple decent singers. The raw talent of the grunge era is something i wish i could've experienced (I'm only 14)
