Who actually cares if someone broke the ToS? I mean I know the moderators do, but the rest of the community don't. Meaning we don't care who it was. No reason for them to gain some form of fame for it. I think I can live with not seeing a thread about someone being given an infraction for posting "ibtl"

Don't see why not to be honest. Forumfall is, after all, a place where people ridicule each other all the time.

Didn't think he ridiculed the guy though really. He just said he was infracted, It's not really worth worrying about in my opinion.

    Failed poll is failed poll.
Moderators should be able to do it to an extent but they should then expect to be ridiculed themselves.

    Sorry.

Safety first, and all that, but when you start putting rubber baby buggy bumpers on an intense sandbox MMORPG like Darkfall you're really committing quite a heinous degree of heresy.

I'd rather be publicly ridiculed than have my posts deleted and be given no explanation.

Making an example out of one person can help other people who don't necessarily read the TOS to stay in line.

Did I say it was anything new or hadn't happened before?

Just asking if it should be a practice.

Surely the worst thing about breaking the rules is the possibility of being suspended, not the 'embarassment' (if there is any in the first place) about breaking them?
