Wait, wait. I know!
I'm hoping this game turns out to really be Fallout Online, and not... Failout Online!
Hahaha! Haha! Aaahahahaha.

The way I see it it is very shakey. But, Interplay will lose their intellectual property for a Fallout MMORPG unless they develop it within a few years. So they will definitely attempt.
It's going to be very interesting.

Boy, when it comes to Fallout 3 and beyond, you guys are really fucking terrified of change. I'd rather play a sequel that wasn't exactly the same as the one preceding it.

It's being pissed that a third party takes over a beloved IP and changes everything about it, save the setting. Especially when the changes, from what can best be seen, are in a very similar vein to their own IP.
I'd be equally pissed if, say, a Half Life 3 were announced - and revealed to be an RTS.
Fallout 1 and Fallout 2 were both turn-based strategy games with a very distinct feel and gameplay - and a sequel made by a third party that is in essence an open-world FPS is simply not Fallout. If Bethesda had instead taken the same game they're about to release, but simply created it under a different guise, there'd be no complaints.
That said, I'm still very excited to get my grubby mitts on Fallout 3. I expect to spent way more time than I should playing it, and I expect to be so pleased I'll probably shit my spleen all over the living room.

Heres what I would like to see in a Fallout game world consists of the United States .. maybe later expansions we can use the rest of the world maybe have a safe haven colony that was untouched by the war. There can be many PVE & PVP elements and good stories to be added to the existing lore into a game like this.
