They never cease to amaze me
They never cease to amaze me
I guess I should just give them everything I own.
Other people need it more than me.
Also for the extra lulz: http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080918/..._credit_crisis
That's 140 billion in 2 days... over a trillion since Jan. 1st
Does anyone here actually feel this super credit crisis? I see it. Semi-feel it.
But honestly my life isn't like in.... Bojambles.
Higher taxes FTW! How else are you going to pay for a free healthcare system? America is supposed to be the land of equals opportunity, but in practice it doesn't work like that and won't until more money is invested by the tax payer (and those who can afford to pay more should) into free widely used services like education and healthcare.

Thank god I'm not an american
Just keep hammering away at the Democrats... meanwhile the Republican defecit just keeps growing....
The tax policy institute that is referenced in that article is actually a non-partisan group that has a great deal of credibility on both sides of the isle. They have researched both McCain's and Obama's tax plans and stated that the deficit under both plans will remain about the same.
McCain will raise fewer tax dollars and have a smaller government. Obama will raise more tax dollars and have a bigger government, but neither one is doing anything to reduce national debt.
The TPI also quantified the cost of both candidates health care plans. Obamas will likely cost $1.6 billion and McCains will cost about $1.3 billion.
As for the recent government intervention on Wall Street (which I strongly disagree with). The bail of of bear stern, Lehman and AIG, as well as the nationalization of Fannie and Freddie was all done by the Fed and the Treasury. Both the Fed and the Treasury are headed by Bush appointed Republicans, and every bail-out we have seen in the last two weeks did not need any approval from the democratic congress, in fact congress couldn't stop these bail-outs if they wanted to.
The only part of government that can stop the Wall Street Welfare movement is the Republican dominated executive branch.
Lay blame where it belongs. When your part fucks up, man-up and admit it.
why? so the government can continue to spend it on a perpetual 'war on terrorism' that THEY are primarily responsible for?
to fight a 'war on drugs' that is unwinnable for the same reason prohibition of alcohol didnt work?
so they can give healthcare to the people too lazy and incompetent to work?
fuck the government, the founding fathers would sail off to an island and start a new country if they could return and see what this country has become
