And no, not that rotten Funcom stuff.
Just watched Conan the Barbarian again for like the 6-7th time on TV while fooling around here a bit and I must say it's an amazing movie.
Sure, some bad acting and bad effects...but it feels so real.
In my opinion it depicts that "fantasy" barbarian better than any other movie I've seen in my life...just the honest but ruff nature in which they speak.
"Why are you crying for him?"
"He's a semerian, he cannot cry, so I cry to him"
In the middle of the funeral/burning.
And it I think depicts a world where truly a man one might even consider savage and viscious becomes the hero and takes up the battle against the real darkness and oblivion that threatens everyone.
Fighting for gold, for revenge of his family, for his life, for love....A true barbarian.
What do you think? Is this the best fantasy barbarian movie ever made or what? Would you watch a remake of it?
I think if they managed to really make a good remake and not some polished crap that I'd watch it. Even pay to watch it.
