I guess the 250,000 Jews Who fled Morroco 50 years ago did so because the Moslems were being too hospitable.

Most people couldn't read at the time. Books had to be hand copied as well until 1456.

The catholic church has always been a corrupt institution since it's inception. It was mix of Mithraism and christianity which why you have so many religous holidays that fall on the same dates that pagan rituals were performed.

Martin Luther who was key in the reformation of the church commented on how corrupt the church of the day was.

Even today most people who call themselves Christians do not bother reading the bible or know it's message. Which is why going to church doesn't make you a christian anymore than going to McDonald's makes you a cheeseburger.

You must also be delusional to fit the criteria.

ok, so? many more jews also were detained or fled from germany at the hands of christians

the whole point of what I've been saying, is that christianity is no better than islam... both sides have their extremists, both sides commit and have committed atrocities, and both sides have people who interpret their texts and teachings in a peaceful manner

it's sad that our country was founded by immigrants who wanted to avoid religious persecution, and you want to throw all of that away and become the persecutors, the prophets of which religion is more "american"

I guess you made that number up in your head?

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jewish...ntries#Morocco

    In case your math is bad, that's 121,000 from 1956 - 1964.

And it had more to do w/ events outside of Morocco than how Jews were treated in Morocco. To this day, btw, they are treated fairly; the only existing rancor is due to the fact that many/most are perceived to identify themselves as Israeli first and Moroccan second and that wealth is often transferred out of Morocco to Israeli instead of being reinvested in country.

It's sad that you are being schooled by Greatdane on this topic.
