What's being gay got to do with taking care of kids?

So if I like penis, I'm considered a pedo all of a sudden?

I love forumfalls logic on this.

    Good job!

    EDIT - nm, been mentionned

Do you (anyone here that is) consider Sandusky a pedophile?

Pedophilia is considered a paraphilia, an "abnormal or unnatural attraction." Pedophilia is defined as the fantasy or act of sexual activity with prepubescent children. Pedophiles are usually men, and can be attracted to either or both sexes. How well they relate to adults of the opposite sex varies.Perpetrators often delude themselves into viewing their actions as helpful to children. They might tell themselves they are contributing to a child's development or that the child is enjoying the act; however, they do tell their victims not to alert their parents or authorities. An estimated 20 percent of American children have been sexually molested, making pedophilia the most common paraphilia. Offenders are usually family friends or relatives. Types of activities vary and may include just looking at a child or undressing and touching a child. However, acts often do involve oral sex or touching of genitals of the child or offender. Studies suggest that children who feel uncared for or lonely may be at higher risk.

Well for the past 1.5 years, in and out of the hospital hah. Been having some post operative abdominal issues, including the surgeons leaving a towel in me for 4 months (lawsuit ensuing). All sorts of fun shit. In between that, just working, living the American dream.

There was a Shadowbane thread on here not too long ago and I've been stuck here since, there's nowhere else with a really active forum so I've been getting my trolling fix here.

    How you doin?

So.. while I may disagree with their attitudes about homosexuality.. they have every right to ban something that contradicts their core values.

Id rather live in a country where they have the freedom to ban this than one where they couldnt.. even if I dont agree with it.

What I find odd is that if they were banning Wiccans.. this thread wouldnt even exist
A private organization which receives financial support from the government.

A private orgnaization should be allowed to do what ever they like, however a private organization which everyone who pays taxes is forced to support shouldnt.

I kind of find it amusing this little war of pro-gays vs. anti-gays in our society. On one hand they are considered monsters that should be put into incarceration camps and killed. On the other hand they are considered to be these magical unicorns about which we are not allowed to say anything but nice things.

I love the war but why not try to figure out what makes gays gays? That would go back to figuring out what is exactly human sex drive and how does it work. For better or for worse eventually scientists will figure it out and the ways to manage it. Hopefully it won't be in a form of a virus to manage population while all the babies would be raised in tubes.
    Spot on, Karlek!!!
I personally disagree with "homosexuality", while have no personal hatred for gays.

If you agree that homosexuality is somehow abnormal (in a medical, psycological and evolutionary sense), and you realise that society is currently celebrating and encouraging an abnormal stance, rather than studying it and trying to cure it or prehempt it (where possible), you could ask yourself WHY?

My answer is that the societies that are doing this (and are currently a minority) ARE in an abnormal state...either in a "physiological" decadent state, or artifically corrupted by some forces (political, spiritual or other).

Be careful, Karlek, by only stating what you have stated you will risk the wrath of a fanatical horde of PC sleep walkers...some might come here and remind you that what you said is "illegal", others might PM with hatred messages..not to mention when you state this in the open "free societies"..the PC "witch hunt" starts.....good luck

Boy Scouts are a religious organization?

I was in it up into high school and while their were references to God on pledges etc. there was in no way preaching involved in it. Heck you could be an atheist and enjoy all of what scouts had to offer.

    Scout Law
    A Scout is:
    Trustworthy, Loyal, Helpful,
    Friendly, Courteous, Kind,
    Obedient, Cheerful, Thrifty,
    Brave, Clean, Reverent

    Scout Oath
On my honor I will do my best
To do my duty to God and my country
    and to obey the Scout Law;
    To help other people at all times;
    To keep myself physically strong,
    mentally awake, and morally straight.

I think most people would like to meet someone who was all of these things.

    A towel, wtf?

    Could you feel it?
<Teth> It's best not to talk to Gunther, though
    <Jarlaxle> why ? he's a legend
<Teth> He's primarily a legend because he's very good at antagonizing the ops without going far enough to be pwnz0red

<@erik> Gunther will, true to his nature, probably get himself banned again soon enough ;)

    Actually.. yes you can.

I am an Eagle Scout....I am also athiest.

I didnt profess my religious views openly, and I participated in the religious aspects of the groups...prayers and such. Religion was not the main currents of the BSA. yes, you were expected to be religious...whether that be muslim, christian, jewish, hindu, buddha...didnt matter. But I realized I was in a group that believed in religion, and it had alot of other things to offer I was interested in, so I respected the religious views of the organization and didnt flaunt or try to change their beliefs or way of doing things.
