Answers can be false. Questions can not.
You're absolutely correct. I still favor answers though

I'm actually agreeing with him in this thread.

I suddenly feel the need to question my entire life.

I could provide answers, but you are clearly in favour of questions. Deal with your doubt I'd say.

See I can't beleive you favour questions when you're absolutely convinced you're right, all the time, no exceptions, ever.

lol. Right about what? Most subjects I discuss here are political. Me being an idealist that believe in freedom and independence, my questioning for that subject has been answered long ago.

Ohh and I've admitted plenty times when I was wrong on these forums. I've even apologized if it was because of ignorance.

Questions provoke inquiry, answers end it, and practicality isn't the only measure of value.

Normally I despise philosophy, but I found this interesting.

    Thoughts?
The author is trying too hard. This is the wrong subject to ponder over.

We both know that practicality IS the only measure of value. What you had in mind is that we (humans) sometimes fail to properly judge an answer's level of practicality.

Philosophy, art, and all manner of creative thinking are pleasing and enrich our lives, both through the process and the results, even with no direct benefit to human survival or efficiency. Value is also subjectively assessed and differs between individuals, so don't presume that your measure of it is identical to mine. Lastly, I'm not in the mood for a semantic debate, so if you wish to respond, please clarify your intended meaning of practicality.
