You fail to understand that we're not argueing the effectiveness of waterboarding. We're argueing that the US government claiming that it's not torture is complete bollocks. You literally just said "the means justify the ends" - that approach would justify any kind of torture.

In short, your statement just indicated that you're even dumber than one would originally assume - based on your country of origin, atleast.

That's Krag masterplan. Become backwards in the head in order to defeat people that are backwards in the head.

    And a gong for Krag.

Aside from whether or not some of you think waterboarding is torture (it most definitely is) the point was that Obama's pants are around his ankles again. He's full of shit. Let's fight about that. Debating waterboarding is so 2008...

Obama defines waterboarding as torture 6 months ago:
Waterboarding is torture, it's contrary to America's traditions, it's contrary to America's ideals, that's not who we are.

Obama campaigned on supporting and protecting whistleblowers.
Barack Obama will strengthen whistleblower laws to protect federal workers who expose waste, fraud, and abuse of authority in government. Obama will ensure that federal agencies expedite the process for reviewing whistleblower claims and whistleblowers have full access to courts and due process.

Obama's administration has prosecuted 6 whistleblowers under the espionage act. Prior to those 6 cases, there were 3 ever.
