Default Finally! Prosecutions over the Bush administrations torture(waterboarding) program!

Well-played, Justice Department. Indict former CIA officer John Kiriakou on Tuesday evening, but don't unseal the indictment until 4:59pm on Thursday, right before the holiday weekend, in order to avoid press coverage of the Obama administration's 6th Espionage Act prosecution of a whistleblower.

...John Kiriakou, a whistleblower, is the ONLY INDIVIDUAL TO BE PROSECUTED IN RELATION TO THE BUSH ADMINISTRATION'S TORTURE PROGRAM.
    Wait.. what?

Water boarding is not torture. Let this be a lesson to all "Whistle-blowers". Cry about something that stupid and you will be the only one to take the fall for it. Good for the government on this one. Fuckin crybaby.

Die. The definition of torture is to make a person undergo pain in order to extract information from them. Do you claim that waterboarding is not painful?

While it is extremely unpleasant, there is nothing jeopardizing in this at all. You can walk away after you realize your not dead or dying. I've experienced drowning and have had to be rescued (during the tier 3 swimming test in the USMC). It's not fun, but when it is proctored, it's not a big deal.

The Vietnamese and North Koreans would tie soldiers up and let bamboo grow through their bodies over night. That's torture.

    This, is not torture.

It's unpleasant but it's not different from other psychological games you play with prisoners. It's not like they are electrocuting his genitals or cutting off his fingers. Compared to the treatment they'd get in their home societies (disappeared and tortured to death), the Americans are fucking angels of mercy.

Let's not forget a guy like KSM is the sworn enemy of our society, has killed thousands of innocents to make his point, and would kill millions if he had the ability, so FUCK HIM.

Of course not, "our government told us it is NOT torture, they would not lie to us and we are the good guys, we cannot do wrong".......

When ignorance and delusion reach the proportions you can only see in the USA, the possible consequences of their present unavoidable collapse makes all sound people despair....how much of the world will they drag down with them? God save us all.

The bamboo thing, the Chinese did, at one time, use that as a method of execution, not pleasant.

Just because water boarding isn't the worst type of torture doesn't mean it's not a type of torture.

    These statements are remarkably ignorant.

Just because you don't die from the torture... means it's not torture?

Seriously... how fun would it be to be brought to an unconscious state from drowning and brought back over and over.
