    I really hate campy "prank" videos like those. They just look (and especially, sound) fake as hell.

    Ya it is fake most of the time. my friends sister lives in Montreal where they do most of the pranks and they came up to her and asked her to act surprised when they pranked her its stupid.

    I don't know about your Orwellian euro laws or where this was filmed, but in the US they do not have to ask in...I think all states. The exception being some states and only if they are cops.

    I believe they are only required to ask people's permission if people below the age of 18 are involved (besides the actors). Otherwise they can film pretty much anything they want.

    you do have to ask for permission but its you can do it with a consent form you can ask them after your filmed them.

    Wouldn't asking for someone's permission to be filmed be the opposite of Orwellian?
