No. You will get no'd and cool storied like 100 times from everyone else too. I think it was spelled Lanie, but I am not sure. I have a PP JB made by lanie sin from the august-september era, so it lines up.

I am sure vamp or blood may have had an influence, but that is by far the powder keg. What happened is sinister died off, and pancake picked up the pieces. You can argue this all you want, but who got a strangle hold on cairn after the "final incarnation" of the cairn alliance?

    Not blood. Not vamp.

IDK about that, unless Dim Mok, Rallos + that one dude (I forget his name atm), and DLs leader are x-VG. Just because TRA was made by VG, it doesn't mean it was run by them. Actually, I am pretty sure it wasn't run by x-vg members either. They got kicked out because all they did was diddle balls with zealot alliance, and cause problems.

Enter Dim Mok, pancake lazerbeam and rallos to confirm when they read your post. (I think you are forgetting that I was in TRA, Cairnivores and DFWA. I was also leadership in Imperil, thus making me a representative in the leaders of the alliances)

Yes. And I am sure teaming up with Zealot, Scare Bears, FataLity, BrutaLity and the numerous spies from Imperil and others to do so.

    Get real.

The only failure I can remember of DHWs' was making a zerg and zerging it up. So this is the first correct thing you have posted. I think you really underestimate my involvement in NA politics. I was there for EVERY MAJOR SHIFT. I was always a part of what ever threads were being made in NA-1 clan. You really should consider this before you try to play history-fall with someone like me.

To correct your false statement about the alliance between zealot and DHW: it dissolved on good terms. Ask any zealot member at the time, or any DHW member at the time. After DHW unallied zealot, Imperil jumped on board with DHW (at the time, FataLity). The reason Zealot and DHW agreed to part ways was because there wasn't any pvp in the center.

Because vamp was bad, and vigi only came sometimes to the devil, it was just shit going on back and forth either at MS or aradoth.

Um, DHW has always done well. You measure success in victorious sieges. While technically you guys won the siege on aradoth (via timeout), you also lost mehatil, and an ICe holding. I actually think you may have lost 3 holdings, but that I am sure you can tell me about in your reply.

I measure recent in the last few months, and recently DHW has been pretty inactive. You may not have noticed, but they cut everyone that was inactive, or not so good of a player.

All in all, everything I said was true. If you really want to argue this, I can easily get bodies in this thread (the leaders of CA, DFWA, TRA and many others) to confirm it. This is supposed to help the community, and you can go and troll another thread dude.

funniest thing about that was the human/dwarf/elf race alliance chat. the entire server lagged when that clusterfuck of kills happened and everyone was asking what just happened, only reply worth remembering was "magic just became op".

If you watch some of the videos you can see me on the walls before the shit goes down. I was spamming the vent telling people NOT TO GO THROUGH THAT DOOR. But no one listened :X, unfortunately my mana missiles weren't quite enough to deter all the massed mercs behind that door.

    - Server first at 50 enchanting
    - Server first with all enchants
again, i highly doubt these 2.

reservd for wall of text ill throw down. You can do with it whatever you please afterwards.

Well since the dawn of time in Agon, lots of things have happend. People, places, powers... have all come and gone. The world is always changing.

I remember since beta and release how the game started off with many people making racial guilds and racial alliances.

King KoKane was born an alfar and begun his journeys in Akathos and Bel Melek, discovering the vast world of Nagast, oblivious the many other lands that had yet to be seen.
Constantly running into people, always watching over your shoulder.. you were never short of danger in those times.

For me, I began at the Goblin Camps like so many others. A seargent in Bad Boys for Life.. I farmed for a day or so before setting off on a mighty swim across the ocean toward Rubaiyat.

The guild had joined an alliance of fellow alfars. DUSK alliance had taken control of Rubaiyat and began building the cities down there.
Alfar only guilds in an alfar only alliance on a now alfar controlled sub continent desert land.

Our guild had Ghanalaj and was already heavily underway in building it up.
With the guild mentality we had, we actually had one of the fastest built cities in teh game (also thanks to the Sun Exarch outside it)

After my 1 hour or so swim, I began my trek across the desert plains, surviving as best I could against the many terrors I would unsuspectingly walk into.

Arriving at the city I was met with the deafening sound of mana missiles being shot into the air, the rattling of pickaxes and thumping of wood axes chopping at trees.
    Gates opening and closing.
I also saw some of our alliance members for the first time too.
So many alfars all around the area, all busy working away.. building the foundations of cities that will remain throughout time in Agon.

The game was so busy back then, its just mind blowing to think about it and how it is nowadays in contrast.

The feeling that while we were down on our little world of Alfar desert, there was a whole planet of players busy doing their own thing on the other side of the world.

It was always cool to imagine what other people were getting up to on the snow continent of Niflheim, or the jungle world of Yssam.

It wasnt long before War called on everyones door and for Dusk alliance, it was no exception.
An alfar guild by the name of Societas Daemonica had somehow upset the council of leaders within Dusk and the motion had been passed to remove them from the island.

Dusk moved out with full force that day and evicted them from Elharrat.
I wasnt present that day myself.

Soon after that there was another call to arms as the whole alliance marched from the rendevouz point of Ghanalaj, a few km north to Ymennek.
A band of humans and other discusting races had moved in under the name of The Mercenaries.
About 300 people went that day aswell.

Dusk had some sieges on mainland aswell..
For me, the most notable one I remember was our siege on Erinthel.

We were sieging Shadowbane alliance and had wagered Ghanalaj back on Ruby I think.
We had taken control of the city after a LOT of fighting that had lasted for like a half an hour, meanwhile another HUGE battle had taken place with Hyperion kingdom and someone else.
The server had crashed within the final hour of the siege, after we had taken control of the city and pretty much had it won.

We never resieged Erinthel I think. I dont remember actually. I often wonder how the game would of fared out from then on. SB became very strong so I'm sure they would of sieged back a few times anyway.

Dusk alliance didnt last much longer after this. We had become involved in the war between CoTC and Hyperion and that caused a divide within the alliance and certain leaders became unpopular.
I was only a seargent back then so I dont remember more details other than the battles and what I saw/heard.

Shortly after, people began accepting any races into their guild, realising that applying a limitation on your guild was a silly idea and only nerfed your ability to reach potential.

It wasnt long into the disturbance within Dusk that Cactus alliance was born. Lead by Bad Boys for Life mainly, under leadership of Lord Valkyrior, one of the most swift successfull uprisings in the game saw a new smaller, but stronger alliance. Cactus had gained support from a lot of people because of its design.

After a brief civil war on Rubaiyat, Cactus emerged succesful and in a short time began its real estate venture which made a fortune.
Cactus were even the first to officially kill the Fire Dragon down there, which had claimed the lives on hundreds of warriors.
Cactus alliance was Soldiers of Thunderstorm, Bad boys for life and The Blackhand.
Originally had Illithyri in the alliance aswell but tried to pull a backstab maneuvre on Soldiers of Thunderstorm and it didnt quite work out.
(I think there was another guild there I cant quite remember - we had Kompaniet for a while too) [NotGuilty]

By this time I had worked my way up to captain

At one stage on Ruby, we had an invasion from an alliance I cant quite remember the name of.
We had ourselves a triple siege to defend from and barely won but it marked the last of that invasion and the enemy was never seen again.

Before long, Cactus had sold off all of its property and moved to Hintenfau in central Agon. The new owners of the holdings on Rubaiyat would later form a new alliance with total control of the continent, under the name of Dune.

After a while of stagnating in a chaos city.. things didnt look so good.
Combined with how Darkfall was going itself, a lot of people across the game were beginning to leave or quit.
Bad boys for life leadership took a full retirement and a merge took place between B@D and TBH (the blackhand)

A short while later, TBH had suffered a bank robbery and was slightly crippled in its wealth.
We learned of the wealth of PvE on Niflheim and before long, TBH had said goodbye to all its old friends in what was formerly known as Cactus.
We had mounted up, packed our things and marched north to the snowy plains of Niflhiem.

TBH then settled in White View on a frozen sub continent that had still been under control of the Death alliance since the beginning of the game.
Aswell as the wealth of mob spawns and their loot, the PvP the guild got on a daily basis was second to none.
There was constantly conflicts between the locals in Frostbourne, the terror of Roby LoD always macroing his arsenal of Magic, which nobody had seen before, just south of White View.
    There was always action.
Manys a time we had battles going back and forth between Aesir in Angfrost and us in WV.

Sometimes we'd venture north, to where it was really cold. We'd fight Sinister, The Black Company and Apollo. Never a dull moment on that place.
Especially with Frost Coast and LoD just south too.
We had support from BrutaL and ANG since they shared the city with us.

So after about 8 days I think it was, we had replenished the stolen clan vault by almost double and were on our way to training our characters nicely.

After a short while here, the talks of the NA server had begun and the release date was getting nearer.
With so many battles between us and Aesir etc, we had earned each others respect and enjoyed killing each other so much that Aesir had contacted us about creating a new alliance, pending the NA server taking half their allies away like LoD, WMD Apollo Outnumbered etc etc.

After about a week or so, TBH leadership, Azazzel Tzimisce and Aros Mograine from Aesir aswell as Toth and Whitter Falk from TBC and Elondriel from BDW, had come up with the idea of an uprising.
Taking control of Niflheim was the plan and the new alliance would be called NWO, new world order.

The civil war that was to follow the creation of this new alliance was one of the most intense, ruthless and nonstop actionpacked wars that anyone who survived it will surely agree with me in saying so.
Constant sieging going back and forth between holdings..
How NWO almost lost and the heroic retaking of Angfrost after it was smashed up and overrun... in the final moments of the siege with an almost completely destroyed clanstone... the few survivors all geared up from enemy straggler kills had stormed the city and retaken it at 5am.... to the great battle of Frost Coast where hundreds lost their lives on the ramp beneath the fireball cannon.

Through the war on Niflheim I had worked my way up to Supreme General and NWO had earned its foothold on Agon and begun repairing the destroyed cities and rebuilding its new kingdom.

When the server lost a lot of players to the NA server release, things died down a lot. NWO became stagnant on Niflheim and started planning on moving house.
With the selling of some holdings done first, NWO had marked its new home on Central agon..
    Mar Shral..

In another close-call siege.. NWO had already lost its first push into Mar Shral against Desperate Housewives who were defending alongside the owners of Nadirian Hordes and DDi etc.

They had destroyed the house behind the bank, anticipating our entrance.
We had entered the city without resistance the second time but had merely minutes to win the siege.
The defenders had taken a defensive position atop of the mountain in MS and had left us with a bindstone in a huge opening with no way to safely spawn siege equipment.
Under leadership of Silver Khan, we had made a 20 man group consisting of the strongest players and characters and sent in a strike team to clear the walls around the bindstone.. When we had done this, the main force continued their push into the bindstone area under heavy fire from the mountain top and fighters guild.
Once the area was taken control of, a shootout took place between both sides and we quickly grabbed battlespikes and cannons from the exposed bank.
A cannon was placed at a time, half covered from a wall on the west side.
When we began spawning cannons, the defenders had to move in to stop us.
The fights became more intense and the battle raged on.. while the clock ticked.

Our attacking force began wearing thin, as did the defenders..
For some moments approaching the final minutes of the attack, it looked like we were about to lose.. But, just when it all seemed lost, we managed to hold off stronger than we had the whole fight and took the stone down and won our new foothold on Agon to a great cheer of releif in vent.

    But.. as time went by...

    More people began leaving Darkfall.
This was all around the time that people began levelling their magic nukes and had no cooldown on ANYTHING.
Combined with that, the game seemed to lose more and more players.

NWO was no exception. Many had quit the game from all guilds and it was only a few who remained in each guild. TBH leadership had fully retired leaving me in charge of the guild and of the alliance. Aesir leadership had done almost the same but suffered more members than leaders quitting.

In a bid to sustain life within the alliance, NWO had sieged a nearby hamlet but was countered with a combined force of Dune and Cairn who had probably thought NWO was targetting them in the future.

By this time, the server had become very quiet as a large piece of the population had quit to the NA launch and those who remained stayed to macro off their banks and then transfer.

NWO was disband shortly after and all guilds merged into a guild called Band of Bastards. We moved into Marithain and joined Graveyard alliance who, at the time, looked like a place to be for action and fun.
I had left then IRL on a long holiday and when I had returned... Graveyard alliance had disband and the guild we had was mostly gone too.

So, returning to a wasteland of a political situation and a less populated world.. I had returned to my homeland of Nagast.
I spent my days in Akathos learning the craftsman trades like Armoursmithing etc.

I kept in contact with some of my old friends like Sir Forgotten who was still playing.

He kept me informed of what little battles were going on and where.

I remember one of the days by the Anvil, Calfadar had been sieged by a massive army of players. I kept up to date in race chat and forums what was going on

Shortly after this, Forgotten had talked me into joining him on his ventures in a guild called PvP, lead by Kronisk Ribba.
There was some action in this guild and we lived in Sunstone Island on Yssam for a bit.
Eventually we ended up joining forces with DHW in Super Friends. We werent officially allied at first and kinda just hung around with them but ended up being allied soon after.

Action was sparse on EU by this time and the NA transfers moved closer.
    Eventually, the transfers hit...

On the eve of the NA transfers, LoD had made it known to everyone that they would take out a SOTL and put on their best gear they had.
Many other people transferring followed suit.
TWO WEEKS etc had all moved out from Yssam and met up with LoD at Frost Coast.
(There wasnt many DHW on at the time so I had asked to come along with TWO WEEKS who happily let me tag along)
I spent some time in their ventrilo learning of their past as they talked about EU and the fun they had, the duping of the mercs etc.

We had arrived in Frost Coast and indeed, LoD had spawned a SOTL. A rare sight in them days
TWO WEEKS among others, had spawned an array of ships, brigantines and reedboats etc etc.
We had all began sailing around wit the intention of hitting cities and stirring shit up.. but it wasnt long into the destruction of Mamengruk that the TWO WEEKS guys etc decided it'd be more fun to try take the SOTL.

Moving their smaller boats into position, everyone was told to wait for the signal to attack.
I had crashed just before hand but listened to it all as it went down and the inital attack sounded like a blast.

LUCKILY I was on land when I crashed so I logged back in and joined the action. By now the guys had set chase after the SOTL, east and due SE all along the Niflheim coast.
In what felt like hours, we had chased and fought the SOTL the whole way.

Slowly, as people got on and fought, more LoD etc would die and their SOTL defense would wear thin. Some waterfighting would take place and we'd continue the chase.
Eventually the SOTL stopped and everyone boarded.

Over the next 10 minutes, the 7 or so of us who remained would fight around the SOTL against the very few defenders and ultimately WIN the fight and sieze the SOTL.

There was no hard feelings from anyone and it was all a blast. Not sure who despawned it but I made off with a LOT of amazing loot I think Celiah Ailey who was one of the remaining too, got the SOTL.

So the next morning.. the server became a far less populated place.

As time went by with not much happening. I had become a little inactive again and the PvP guild had disband I think (dont remember fully but Arkillion was in it)
I had followed Forgotten into a guild called Akatsuki soon after.
Just a lieutenant, I enjoyed my time in this guild a lot.

We were in the REA alliance based on Yssam.

Meanwhile on Agon and Cairn, a war was brewing with Power Rangers alliance and Cairnbears alliance.
REA was doing merc contracts for a lot of people.
At one point, both PR and Cairn had somehow joined forces (I think before any of their hate to each other) and had marched hand in hand into Andruk but had lost against REA. I wasnt on for that siege. I was on the for the Anjir siege just before it though which was a blast.
A bit laggy for me but we had sailed from Yssam on a Brigantine to meet up with Evil Lords company etc and fought for a good 20 minutes trying to breach that little hole in the ground, to get into Anjir. We had done so and because of the timing, we got the stone down before anyone could regroup against us.

After ending up SG of Akatsuki and things becoming a little inactive, we had moved down to Bloodscar and left REA after ELC had left it too.
We moved in with Liandri Mining Corporation and discovered the wealth to be had with farming devils.
We had a lot of daily pvp here against ANG and FruitCups.
Time went by like that. Devils and PvP.

Eventually life in Bloodscar was too crowded.
We began our plans to obtain a city now too. We had our sights on Ghanalaj which was currently being owned by Yssam Raider.
That siege ended up with Celiah hiring Chocolate Rage alliance and left us with no real chance to win.

So after some more planning we decided on a different target.
    Dagnamyr.
It was currently owned by BDW within Power Rangers alliance, which was mostly Graveyard remnants and some new others.
They had a war at the time with Cairn but not many sieges were happening.
On siege day, we moved to hintenfau and set out north. We saw we had absolutely no chance solo so we moved back and hired in CR alliance to balance it out.

We took control of the city but at the same time, Cairn had sieged Marithain, cleverly taking their opportunity to strike.
At the time, PR leader Xzyzz had contacted French Kiss leader Vif Argent and tricked him into believing that we were actually working WITH Cairn and had reinforced his Dagnamyr defense heavily.
In order to counter this we had to actually contact Cairn and call them up from marithain, much to the disilke of many.

So the siege played out like that and we had eventually won Dagnamyr.. but it didnt end there.
Our deal with CR wasnt monetary. They had a siege planned and simply asked that in return for their help, we had to help them in their next siege.
Seemed simple enough so we had agreed.

Unfortunately, they had picked out Mar Shral. The next day.
We didnt like removing French Kiss from there but a deal was a deal. The siege went ahead and some hatred between CR and FK was born and saw their war begin and the birth of BoS alliance happened.

I moved over into Liandri at this point and we enjoyed life between the two holdings we had.

Frequently we would visit Long March and adopt a newb to come join us and level on the Devils, power levelling them almost.

Over on Yssam, things had become slightly inactive with the remnants of REA and we found ourselves becoming friendly with them down at bloodscar.
Later we made an alliance with them and EOA expanded.

After a while again... history repeated and the honeymoon phase of the latest expansion had worn off and player activity dropped again.

The guilds in EOA merged to become Devil Preservation Society. The merge saw a busy system menu and a cheap and expansive portal network for everyone.
As a result, the game felt twice as active and populated. The merge was a success and every day we joked about building a Wonder.
Some weeks into the guilds existance we decided we'd go ahead and build toward a wonder.

We agreed that the times of old were so interesting when we had cities to build, things to work for and do in the game. It kept everyone busy and playing.
If we had a Wonder to build with approx 10million gold worth in mats, we felt it would give us incentive to spend our earnings from devils and give us something to work toward that we could all share.

The task was set under way to construct the servers second Wonder.
It was no easy job and over the course of the next month I had to set out a way to obtain mass Stone/Wood without making everyone quit from being overworked.
So, despite being a shared leadership within DPS, I was kind of the frontman and communicator for everyone since the guild itself was made up of different languages.
Not that I could speak all languages, lol, but it takes a lot of understanding and patience to make it all work.

So for the next month and a half, I would rearrange holdings with people in favor of obtaining groves and quarrys over mines, but also using the mines we had to generate the gold.
Around the time we were half way done, the Sea Towers got a big change in their loot and we were the first to capture one and announce its loot to the community.
About 800 rare ores amongst other things, set the bar for future towers and showed everyone it was serious business.
DPS were no exception. Everyone wanted to win these and we turned it up a notch and began using the famed Frigate of Doom... The SS Controversy.
With the Sea Tower loot and our holdings and members putting in the effort of farming things like devils and fire dragons, we power-built the servers second Wonder. (There was heavy trading done on top of that and complete dominance of the trade channels was kind of necessary at the time too - with regards wood/stone)

In a mountain, in a city along the northern coast of Yssam, The Nithron Throne stands tall and will remain throughout time...

Some fond memories in this game

    tl;dr

Now this is a story all about how
My life got flipped-turned upside down
And I liked to take a minute just sit right there
And tell you how I became the king and an alfar on a chair

In west Nagast born and raised
With Goblin Scouts is where I spent most of my days
Chillin out, maxin, relaxing all cool,
And all shooting some Mana outside acid pools
When a couple of guys who were up to no good
Started making trouble in my neighborhood
I got in one lil fight and my SG got scared
And said "You're moving with your guild and allies down here"

    Default Oromea

Not sure if there are any around, but I was here at Launch Day EU1, rolled some guys from WAR to help them get going, and then followed my original plan and moved to Oromea.

Most everyone knows already that Oromea claimed Tughri, we were the first city to get Guard Towers up, we abused the crap out of them for several hours for free Reflex gain and allowed members of many other clans to do so.

We also had a very populated city for the first several months of launch and were constantly raided and well known as a city that would vomit PvP if jumped. Maybe not AWESOME PvP, but lots of it.

Most also know that Tughri was the city held longest out of all cities by a single clan since launch. I think Calfardar or some Cairn city was close, but they traded it within their alliance between clans, so was not the same clan.

As to Oromea Allying DUSK, we in fact did discuss it from a lore perspective.

In real world, many of the senior Oromean's knew many of the guys from some of the DUSK guilds from previous games and actually enjoyed playing with them. That was the primary reason as far as I know for actually doing the alliance. Even though I was a very junior member at the time, I know we ALL hated the way Humans / Dwarves / Mirdain (for the most part) acted in game with no honor, scruples or care for the lore whatsoever. Just acting like cannibals.

Anyway, to explain it from a lore perspective was very easy.

DUSK was open to an alliance. Malek preaches loyalty solely to him and death to all other races. By offering us an alliance they were breaking through the will of Malek, and therefore no longer REALLY "Alfar." At that point they became our lost cousins hoping to find a way home. They had nasty habits, and couldnt be trusted completely, but they acted with more honor than the H/D/M's in the game.

Add to that, the game already has Ciel Fey. They are Mirdain who dont agree with Charybdis, and are hunted in game. We, in Oromea, just chose to extend that "Ciel Fey" type corruption, and include all the Mirdain in game who did not uphold the lore.

Therefore, we were not allied to Followers of Malek, as they ceased being his followers as soon as they offered an alliance. They were lost cousins.

We did not wage a war against Mirdain, we defended the forests, Tughri, and honest Mirdain against the ravages of Ciel Fey and other groups who cared not for their brothers or their homes.

I just wrote everything that happend that I was involved in and I'm sure I left out more and more as I went on... I could go back and edit in more and more if you really want and I have more time to think about events lol

If somebody quotes KoKane im gonna rage.

Since the server is down im gonna start reading it, will edit this post to say something.

Edit: I had alot of fun reading your post KoKane and I saw myself in many of those places since I was in Dune, PR and EOA.

In the story things like big alliances and major conflicts will be mentioned but the rest il leave for a big ass chronicle witha timeline. We need to setup a wiki for this or use one, anyone?

All I can help with is the beginning of Hammerdale's history from day one until mid way through Hyperion vs CC since I leader of the first guild to purchase it.
