Even though what you say is true, its not even about green house gases. The sun is getting warmer.

Well - don't act like the world is exactly the same as if people were never here.... I'm sure we effect it a little. But I also don't think it makes any sense to blaim humanity for existing... though I'm sure plenty of people would love to do so.

But yea - I have little doubt that 99% of the change is and has always been fueled by the sun.

The change in temperature during our species existence has been due largely to happenings on Earth, the sun changes, like all main sequence stars, very slowly compared to our existence.

Grisu, how do you figure the sun is getting hotter? It gradually gets hotter as it exhaust fuel but there's no way it is noticeable during our lifetime. It goes through 11 year cycles, if that is what you're talking about, but that is a cycle and wouldn't spell out any permanent changes.

So why was there a spike hotter than current temperatures during medieval times period? Those horse-drawn carriages and sewing looms must have had some terrible CO2 output...

it's not that it's getting warmer that's thought to be caused by greenhouse gases, it's at the speed it's getting warmer. Anyway, it's the lack of pirates.

Wouldn't it be funny if the sun suddenly exploded in say, around 2012?

You are obviously a paid dis informant in the employ of the Evil Oil Companies, much like the Evil Doctor in the original topic. Global Warming is a proven scientific fact, and no amount of money thrown at lobbying groups by the Evil Oil Companies will be able to change this irrefutable fact. We will see who has the last laugh, when you are flooded by the prophetic Global Warming Waters and myself and the rest of the TCoC flock sits safely in our Mountain Top Haven *

Is sun responsible for doubling of CO2 ammount in atmosphere in the last 150 years, while before it was constant for about 800 years? Does CO2 has no effect on temperature levels?

Of course the opinion of this guy is not in a bit related that hes owner of a 3 major mining companies, few major anti-global warming organisations and would suffer big losses would there be decision to take any action about it?

    *sigh*
