    Default Clarification about NA client installation.

    We were asked to pass this along.

    After you complete the steps described here, provided you have the NA client installed, you will be able to log in the NA1 server and play.

    If you are getting the message “Account not active”, you will need to log in the NA account management system found here and purchase a monthly subscription.

    If you do not have the NA client installed but you do have the EU client, follow these steps to install the NA client without having to download the whole 9 gigabytes again.

    1. Download the NA Lobby from this link

    2. Install it on a different folder than your EU client, such as Darkfall US.

    3. Go to your EU client installation folder and copy the following files from the data folder:
    dfdata.sfai
    All the dfdata_00XX.sfad files
    sfmiddleware.dll

    4. Go to your NA client installation folder and paste the files in the Data folder.

    5. Log in the NA Lobby and let it patch if needed.

    You should now be able to log in and play. If you encounter any issues please contact our NA support department.

    Its actually all very straight forward and once you buy a NA client there is even a link called transfering EU too NA client download follow those instructions!!

    You dont have to buy an NA client. You just have to install one.

    how can you tell if your character's been successfully transferred if you aren't supposed to buy a subscription until it is?

    yes, i xferred during the downtime... lol

    you can't. they recommend you wait 24 hours to resub na because there is no way to tell when it goes through. honestly i would just sub to na and eat the 24 hours of time you might lose, just so you can play as soon as your character transfers. Just check it every hour, lol.

    The EULA is more of a set of guidelines than actual rules

    Default multi accounts.

    I have an active NA account with same email as my EU ... When I tried to buy subscription for my transferred account, it said email already recorded on NA and to pick another one? So I can't buy subscription ? Asked support (waiting) but wondering if anyone here has answer..

    You cannot have one email associated with 2 accounts. Make a new email.

    Another question that might be interesting to post the answer for would be to tranfer bindings/settings to your NA client. Some people have managed to do it , some are trying. But perhaps there's some straight forward method.

    Effing odd. Was getting a billing error consistently whilst trying to subscribe.

    Just tried it again after re-entering all of my CC info (for the third time) and it suddenly works.

    I have two EU accounts both using the same email address.

    If they are old accounts, it's possible. But it was changed at some point and you cannot do it anymore.
