A couple of days ago, I made a bow. It was made of a 3 foot, mabey an inch in diameter piece of wood I found in my back yard. I cut slots in the ends to hold the string, I carved it, stripped off the bark, I used two plastic...zip things, to hold on a small twig, a little below the center of it, (perpendicular to the bow) as a guide for the arrow. I used a real, round tip practice arrow.
I shot at an old, metal chair in my backyard. It had a diamond pattern in it, so that the arrows slid, ever so perfectly into it. I got alot of good shots in.
Yeah...My bow snapped right in half.
REST IN PEACE.
