Character Transfers are Live

There have been some changes and additions to the text we posted yesterday.

The most notable change is that if you are transferring your character to an existing NA1 account, and you have a player on this account, then the transfer cannot be completed. You need to delete the NA1 character first, this will not be done automatically.

Something we didn't mention in our post yesterday was that your character's alignment will also transfer with your character.

Also it's mentioned that there's a limited time offer on the 6 month subscritpions during the transfer period. The subscription recurs at the special offer price after the original 6 months are over.

Completed the transfer. None of the servers has my charachter atm both gives me the option to make a new character though will wait untill server up tomorrow i guess

I can't wait. Although my ping will probably only go down by about 20. You guys really should move the NA server to the middle of the country so everyone has a reasonable ping or put a cap on things so any ping < 50 gives no advantage. It's really not fair for CA players to have an experience as though they're playing on the server and other US players have a ping almost the same as it was on EU.

you definitely don't want to make a new char on NA, but that's probably obvious to you

I actually transferred with a ton of my stuff in my bank and forgot to save them in another character

I look forward to seeing all of you tranferring! More population means more fights, which means more fun! Not to mention NA could use some more skilled players, I for one enjoy fighting against characters stronger than mine because it shows me how much I need to improve to become combat effective. Bring it on, Euro's; we are waiting.

Players that have multiple accounts on NA and EU have a huge benefit right now, they basically get a free name change for the character they are transferring.

Will the option to rename characters be available to everyone that is transferring or will it only be available to players that exploit the system?

This is actually pretty true.
