Whispers in the wind speak of stirrings within the dusty corridors of the Red Pharaoh's pyramid on Rubaiyat.
The power-hungry ambitions of the lords of the Ul'Tannek family have led them to bring life to these long dead tombs and claim the untold powers hidden within.
Word has it that they seek to increase their fortunes through delivery of ancient relics to an unknown buyer in a far-off part of Agon. One would surmise that a well timed ambush of this caravan could yield a goodly amount of wealth to an enterprising taker...
Of course another point of view might suggest that the family may show a generous amount of gratitude to anyone choosing to protect them along their perilous path..
Either way.. rumor has it that a caravan out of Rubaiyat will be traveling sometime on Monday.
What say you? Will you come and offer aid and perhaps earn the good will of this enigmatic family? Or will you carve your name in legend as the takers of their fortunes and could this be but the beginning of something bigger yet to come?
The UlTannek family had gotten a hold of some ancient and valuable treasures and they needed protection. They asked me if I was willing to come to their aid and so I did. Not for the rewards but for the action. The rewards were of course tempting as well. They told me that they were to depart from Rubaiyat and travel all the way up to Yssam to trade with an Ork family whose name I am not allowed to reveal.
At first we were asked to act as scouts so me, Mori Tori, Muscle Mary, Cing Wraithspire, God ofSecrets and one Ork friend of God ofSecrets joined me for this mission. The caravan finally hit land and was to travel from the Mirdain lands all the way up to Yssam. During this time many people raided the caravan but failed miserably and the family was kept safe.
In the end they grew tired of the slow movement of the Ark and decided to make a blood offering that I hear has pleased the pharaoh. The items they had in their possession was the Ark itself, gold and interesting armor as well as one two handed greatsword known as the Lightbringer.
The family now know their true allies and can in the future plan for their journey better.

I liked the event and it was really fun participating in it and talking with the sisters and brothers of UlTannek. The devs were playing regular human player characters adorned in egyptian like armors and bronze colored skin.
The family members were not very strong but they were not hardened warriors so it fitted with the story well.
Things to improve for next time would be to set a goal that would be possible to achieve in a timeframe of around three hours max in my opinion. Travelling all the way up to Yssam in a slow moving Ark is something that would take hours upon hours especially with constant raiding attacks.
