Calfardar Battlereport [Cairn vs Server]

Ok, it was an awesome fight in Calfardar today. If you're not into long posts, you may still get some information from this post by clicking on the link to a picture describing numbers/time in Calfardar.

Those of you who do not agree on the name of the new (temporary?) alliance being called 'Server', forgive me but I think this name is somewhat fitting and also humorous.

Cairn held the top level of the city before any actual fighting happened, and the critical lift area was held by around 20-30 people; no way up. Other Cairn were distributed throughout the city, anticipating runestoning. In total we were 80ish Cairn including afk macros. Server tried to come up the lift a few times but failed to do so until this was combined with people runestoning in. Server lost several people to this; some of the fallen returned, others did not. A few Cairn lagged down the shaft as they attempted to approach the edge (myself included, though I survived!).

After some attempts at going up the lift, Server had two groups runestone in. One group to the top of the Mages Guild and another at the top of the Keep. Both these groups were decimated with relative ease and low casualties on Cairn side. Shortly after (or maybe during this) 1-2 groups runestoned in at the south of the city mostly out of view. Also, too many Cairn had abandoned the lift to engage the people who runestoned in - leaving the lift vulnerable. The groups who runestoned in to the south of the city slowly progressed towards the lift area and took over this area, allowing for reinforcements to come in. People at the bottom and middle floor had also begun using the lift shortly after fighting had broken out at the top. Once Server reinforcements reached the top relatively unscathed, it was a losing battle for Cairn. Fighting continued throughout the city for the next 15-20 minutes with Cairn forces slowly losing people and being pushed towards the Bank and Keep area in the northern end of the city. In the end only around 20 Cairn were left (geared) and we decided to bail.

I'm not angry, and who do you mean 'my members'? I'm not a religious leader or anything....yet.

The majority of Invictus' members are NA, and I don't know about the wages in the US, but I hear there's some sort of economical crisis, dunno if you've heard of it, so a lot of people are out of work.

I don't work for minimum wage, woo!

Me too.

Any company or business with an 18 year old student at the helm who's supporting a drinking and social habit aswell as studying an honours degree is doomed to fail in my books.

Dont think we have that many apparently u outnumber us 3 to 1 at the city but im n ot on the offence group so dunno, apparently Dune all attacking hyperium atm aswell
