Best way of training base attributes (stats)
Seeing various threads about the same subject: How to raise stats in the most efficient way? I thought one thread for all stats would be better for people to discuss and contribute.
Strength: Logging
Vitality: Mining
Dexterity: Throwing/Archery
Throwing battlespikes is technically the fastest way of raising your dexterity. However, archery is a lot cheaper and thus the natural choice and biggest source of dexterity gain for most players. Does the use of daggers increase dexterity?
Quickness: Riding
Followed by swimming which also gives strength and vitality. However gains from swimming have been nerfed once or twice. Not sure wether it's worth spending time on anymore.
Intelligence: Casting
Every cast is equal in stat gain independent of casting time and cooldown thus making spells such as Heal Other and various Ward spells a good choice.
Wisdom: Fishing/Cooking
Herb gathering might be a good choice too since it gives a minor intelligence increase aswell.
Discuss!

Riding raises quickness by far fastest.

Would be interesting if anyone could share their knowledge of how much dagger usage increase dexterity compared to archery.
Quickness: Riding (?)
Not completely sure if riding raises quickness faster than swimming. Input on this anyone?

STR: Logging
VIT: Mining
DEX: Throwing, not archery! Archery is the cheapest way to raise Dex, but it's way slower.
QCK: Riding
INT: Casting
WIS: Fishing and Cooking (they go together). Herb Gathering is slower on WIS, but gives a little int as well.
Fixed list.

anyone know how many battlespikes you have to throw for dex to get a full point? Is it even worth it to grind?

Sprinting will slowly raise Dex.
Any Melee will raise STR/VIT.

Most of those stat are raising a lot faster by fighting, my Polearm raise str/vit/quick very fast. In fact gathering raise is very slow if you ask me compare to combat, i gain a lot more rom 1 or 2hour pve, than all day long gathering. I don't have number to back me up taught, just test it by yourself.

Yes, I've noticed that myself - Melee increases Str/Vit a lot faster than gathering. Can't say anything about quickness tho.
