Everything NA launch related, including instructions on how to download the US client or convert from EU to the US client.

To create a new NA account and buy the game

To download the Na client or convert from the EU client:

Download Instructions Without Torrent
(Warning: download will take a very long time)

1) Download the client from
http://www.us1.darkfallonline.com/dl/DarkfallUS.exe

2) Open/Run the file. Follow the installation instructions.

3) After installation, open the lobby. Log in with your Login/Password and let the game patch itself (This might take a long time. The patch is around 9.5 GB)

4) When the patching is done, you are ready to play

(*) EU TO US CLIENT INSTALLATION:

1) Download the US Client from:
http://www.us1.darkfallonline.com/dl/DarkfallUS.exe

2) Open/Run the installation. Follow the installation instructions.

3) Default installation directory of the US Client is "C:\Program Files\Darkfall US\" Default installation directory of the EU Client is "C:\Program Files\Darkfall\" If you have installed any of the installations in a different drive/directory use that path instead. Copy all the files from "C:\Program Files\Darkfall\data\" to "C:\Program Files\Darkfall US\data\"
(Basically copy the data folder from darkfall folder to darkfall us data folder)

4) Run the US Client from "C:\Program Files\Darkfall US\Lobby.exe" and log in with your US Login and Password.
See you in Darkfall

Those mods are out in force today. That's a real good sign for a launch :P

yea, this getting a tad bizarre. the mods are deleting stuff that doesn't even have anything questionable in it. just people talking about release and setting up US accounts. I could see if it was trolls flaming AV but that's not the sort of stuff getting deleted. Pretty strange if you ask me.

I don't think they intended for people to be able to setup their accounts/billing info before the store opened. Oh well

Funny thing is, if they wanted to stop 90% of the posting, all they have to do is give a news update.

Well the Mortal Online web site is having the same problems darkfall did.

Find that funny. Since everyone thought MO was going to be the best thing since beer.
