"GNi is the leading dedicated hosting provider for online games, "

Are they just basically a server farm? It doesn't sound like they are a distributor like Atari is for Turbine (DDO), for example.

They sound like just a hosting company to me so I don't get all the stuff how separate accounts are needed because of separate distributors.

They are just a serer hosting company. The publisher for the game hasn't been announced yet (or we haven't found it). Could be a privately traded company that is publishing the game.
