Your Motivation for PvP

Which is your motivation for PvPing? Poll options detailed below:

1. PvP to make people mad or upset. Corpse camping, trash talking, and griefing in general. You spit on those you kill. An ideal situation for you would be to upset your opponent to the point that he quits.

2. PvP to be the best. You see yourself as the most skilled PvPer and everyone else as lesser. You PvP simply to show you are better than your opponents. You scoff at those you kill. An ideal situation for you would be to be reknown as one of the greatest PvPers in Darkfall.

3. PvP for the sake of killing. You kill without caring about how it might affect the victim, and you won't waste your time with things like camping. You quickly move on after you've killed an opponent. An ideal situation for you would be simply killing many people as fast as possible.

4. PvP for a good fight. Win or lose, you can enjoy having a good fight agianst an honorable opponent. You bow to those you kill. An ideal situation for you would be that a fight agianst a well-known adversary ends in a suspensful near-draw, with you barely coming out as the victor.

5. PvP to support others. You're not the one doing the damage, but you increase others and keep them alive. An ideal situation for you would be to know that you're support turned the tide of battle into your team's favor.

6. PvP as self-defense. You would rather avoid killing if you could, but will attack if you are provoked. You feel remorse for those you kill. An ideal situation for you would be if you would be left alone to go about your non-PvP-related goals.

7. Other.

I'm #1 and #3 though. I like to kill as many people as I can, but if I can tell that someone is getting mad at me for killing them I'd probably grief them for a while

you shoulda made it one of thsoe check box polls, since im a mix of trying to be the best, looking for good fights, and pvp to support others (im mostly an anti)

I voted 4, cause I PvP for good fights. An a robot behind the pixels is no where near as smart or as challenging as an actual human behind the keys.

When I made it I was thinking it would be easier to choose one style that you prefer, but when I went to answer it myself I had a hard time choosing just one.

However, my method for doing so was to think of which I couldn't play without, or at least which would have the biggest affect on me if it wasn't there.

Often people confuse 2 and 3 with eachother.

Being the best does not mean killing the most. Although the two can often go hand in hand

PvP for a good fight/to support others. What's the point doing it otherwise? Just doing it to annoy people is sad, and killing for the sake of killing is pointless (and also a little bit sad).

Should've made this one a checklist, I was stuck between 3 and 4 for a good long time. I like a good fight, but if I can rip somebody to shreds in about 5 seconds, that always gives a good feeling right in your....heart?
