Yes, i think all of us agree AS OF NOW cycling whirlwinds is not OP'ed and it's easy to counter, but the real question is:
Can it be OP'ed with the future changes? Maybe.
Does it take any skill to keep cycling WW's? No. As i already said, right now it takes no skill and is not OP'ed, but same happens for shooting mana missiles to yourself. It offers no advantage lol, but that doesn't mean it takes skill, shooting mana missiles to yourself takes no skill. The difference is shooting mana missiles to yourself will never be OP, whereas cycling WW's could sometime become OP.
Is there any real problem in adding a GCD to them as well? Don't see how it could.

Have said this since the day I started playing this game and got my first two weapons to 25.
2h and 1h...
Why ohh why? ain't they bound, all of these skills, to a single skill named
Power-Attack
Knock-back.
Seize.
Whirlwind.
It would make life so much easier, just have each of the skills bound to the same global skill, if your unable to use it, well then nothing happens.
It would only appear in your Weapons skill tab once you learn your first skill of the kind.
Then if your unable to use it with that weapons your holding, it's colored gray or something.
Then they would all share cooldown just by that.
Doesn't mater if you think having multiple whirlwinds ain't overpowered, because it's skill to switch weapons and use em, for overall gameplay, this solution would be more suitable.
Especially since it wouldn't require so damn many keybindings if you wanted to use the skills from more then one weapon, or just one skill from allot of weapons, whirlwind in this case.

I dunno if I have to clarify but I write it since there are always some stupid people.
I don't want to remove that you have to buy the skills for all weapons, you would have to, you would also skillup each of the skills individually.
The only difference is, if I press Whirlwind, and hold a 2h sword, and then I equip a 1h and shield, when the cooldown of whirlwind is of, I can use it again, with the same button, and if I have bought whirlwind 1h sword, there will be a whirlwind aswell.
Simple right?

agree , we must have cooldowns on melee too so this macro players dont have unfair advantige to legit ones , and hope any other thing they come up whit to have easy mode macro fight will be gone in future.

you people do realize you want to nerf something because it could eventualy be op right... I remember when people said archery was op because everyone started off using it then they nerfed jumpshot.... AV i understand that you tink listening to every QQ player on the forums is a good thing however mplementing shit because of QQ post has probably cost you more subs then anything else

its not a nerf , changing 5 types of wepon and doing only Whirlwind whit them its plain stupidity for melee fight to become. (and yes they change them whit macro)

I never said it is op. I don't blame my loses to it, none of them. I just say it could eventually be OP AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, THERE IS NO REASON TO KEEP IT. It takes no skill, it makes no sense and it gives nothing to the game. It is not op as of now, but if it became op then it would be just fucking great. Fucking understand it.

Personally i'd rather they kept jumpshooting out, or they added big restrictions to it. Read what i said to vexrak. The difference between nerfing something simply because it could eventually become OP and nerfing whirlwind cycling is that the last one, even if it didn't become OP, there would be no advantage in having kept it, cos it takes no skill, makes no sense and adds nothing to the game. Same could be said about jumpshooting, except this one takes a bit of skill(not much though, and you can still jump and charge a shot in the air now, which takes a bit more skill). Jumpshooting doesn't make sense either and it really adds nothing but jumping funny fights to the game.
As i said, however, i wouldn't cry if they reintroduced jumpshooting the same way it was... wouldn't be a big deal.
