To me this sounds like you don't want use the LOTD tag because you would not want to record your impending utter failure under the LOTD moniker. I would assume no matter what really happens in about three years you will add Darkfall to your guild history and claim you conqured the Alfar region and were the number one Alfar guild in AGON!

What ever tag you fly we will crush your guild......

So, the shit talk this early from LoD? The only reason Hades did not allow us to use the LotD tag was because he personally believes this game will flop in less than three months.

The only reason I pushed forward and established a chapter in DFO is because I believe otherwise. Hades is sticking in WAR until another game proves to be capable of lasting.

Speaking of utter failure under a guild moniker.... Simon, let's talk about what happened in AoC with the group of LoD who showed up there.

You need to reconsider playing. This game might be a buggy piece of shit, it might end of all falling apart but its this shit here, this conflict which is why we even game. The upfront curve in this game isnt nearly as bad as WOW or other games where level 10's cant compete with 80's. It's not to late you can make a competitive showing.

The last two games we fought against you, you spent more time in the respawner than anything else.

Other than Fury and AOC we've never seen LoD on the same server as us in any MMO since Ultima Online, and back then we were allies.

We still sponosor activities in WoW, AOC, and will sponsor something for Darkfall. However, I'm not sold on this game enough to make it an official guild effort at this point in time. If we fly our tag then its an official guild effort with structured leadership, goals, and the full focus of our guild. If we sponsor a game, then there's no tag and we just give our members basic forum and ventrilo support while not really caring what happens.

LotD is currently focused on a full reroll effort on the Warhammer ORVR server -Dark Crag after leading the Order alliance that burned down our old server of Azazel.

Darkfall is curious, and I certainly like to see how old friends or enemy guilds are doing here. But beyond that, I'm not convinced that this game won't be another AOC fiasco with a rapid population decrease within 6 months. Warhammer had a decrease, but at least they still have triple the amount of servers that AOC has at this time.

So good luck to all of you, friend and foe alike, but I'm not excited about this game yet and not willing to put a lot of guild effort into it.

Valor is the POC here, and will certainly be willing to work with quality guilds who are interested.
