Seriously...I was watching "Marley & Me" with my gf and when the movie started approaching its end, the whole damn theater room started to cry. I cried a little too. Damn dogs and their unconditional love...If I recall correctly, the only other time that happened to me was watching Lion King for the first time, the part when Mufasa dies. Am I a metrosexual now?

Dog movies don't make me cry, but they did inspire this weird horror in me when I was young (like 3-10 young). I didn't understand why back then, but now I realize how fucking bizarre that we expose children to the result of repeated drug trips. I mean think about all those fucking Disney cartoons and the like. After that it made violent movies seem positively tame...

That's one of the least fucked up things about that cartoon. Sure, it's fun to watch even now, but showing art like that to kids then throwing a fit about typical occurrences like violence and sex?

I've never been bothered by violence or sex, those cartoons on the other hand?

i almosted devoted a thread to this but pink elephants on parade (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=944cPciN-kw) after dumbo drinks a bucket of "something".

probably gave me my first taste of what an acid trip was like.

The last time i cried was out of rage just before i punched a guy with over 9000Megatons/mm^2 of pressure application.

I was 13.

My tear ducts would hurt if i tried to cry now, let alone at some stupid fuzzball canine's antics, probably even some rust in there.

Thanks for reminding me of that... I'm going to insist my friends watch it. Although they'll probably get so freaked out they'll want to turn it off halfway through. That is one fucked up cartoon.

No, if you've ever had to kill your own dog, I doubt you'd really want to discuss it..especially on forumfall.

I never cry during movies. Sure, some movies make me feel pretty sad, but I don't show it and as long as I can light up a cig afterwards it's all good. Way to be a woman, OP.

Never had a dog, so dog movies do nothing to me. Having said that, there have been quite a few movies that are quite endearing. Even cartoons, Wall-e wasn't bad, for example.

Dog movies? Haven't really seen much of those. One where all the dogs talk, and one with Tom Hanks. Never seen a Lassie movie. Atleast not that I'd remember.

Having said that, movies make me emotional. I think it's because when I'm watching a movie I'm relaxed and opened, and when it gets emotional it's hard for me to control my emotions. Like I deal with my personal problems that should make me emotional, by being emotional watching movies.

I never cry though. In any sense of the word (though I couldn't anyway, my body doesn't produce tears). My throath just gets a bit achy because I strain it, and I take deep breaths.

I've never understood why people think that men crying is a bad thing. Sure, if you cry all the time over nothing, then you're a pussy, but never crying is what makes people snap and kill their family.

I've felt really sad about some movies even cried on 1 or 2. The end of DBGT was especially sad for me.
