It seems that most of the people on this thread are pretty liberal (left wing) in there thinking.

So let me ask, what is wrong with a taking this government back to how it was written in the Constitution. (state individuality, hard currency, ect).

Please don't say that the current country is how the founding fathers set it up, because its not.

I am not right wing or left wing. I am neither a Rep or a Dem.

Right wing isn't exactly how the founding fathers wanted it either. What exactly are you accusing liberals of doing that is against the Constitution?

If you read many posts you'd realize most of the people here believe the government spits on the constitution

Everything, Both the reps and the dems are doing everything wrong. We have a strong central government. We have centralized banking based on no real value of money.

one - you demonstrate your Ignorance about forumfall, the Libertarians probably hold an easy majority here

two - define your terms, Jefferson was a Liberal

three - i'm fairly certain most would agree that our System is fucked up a bit at the moment, after 8 solid years of conscious abuse, and 60 years of systemic abuse....are you willing to honestly look at the REAL problems and deal with them?

example: lobbyists and their money, prosecuting white collar crime as harshly as crack cocaine is now, holding Individuals responsible for their actions (subset of that, overturning the 1890's ruling about the collective of corporations having legal Rights while shielding Individuals from accountability)

on and on....

an interesting note about History, and those who dream of it as a glorious time gone by....

it wasn't

Utopia never has, nor shall it ever exist

have a nice day, nublet

I know our system is wrong. And if you are not a liberal, as one would currently think of one in the modern sense, than this question was not directed at you.

If you have an objection to the way this country was constitutionally set up I would like to hear it, not just your insults.

Having Liberal views doesn't make you a Dem. They aren't synonymous, thank you.

08 registry makes you a nublet, nothing personal...objective fact

WTF made you think i had any kind of problem with the secular covenant of our Constitution? funny, i swore to uphold and protect it when i signed up and served in the military...

unlike those oathbreakers who have been running things for the last 8 years

again, your post just makes no sense, on it's own ...or as rebuttal to my pretty unambiguous post

you are failing abysmally...and Forumfall does not allow you a lifeline, nublet

i figured on the educational approach, until they prove to be too stupid to breathe or otherwise congenitally defective...

What the 16th amendment says?

check here (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sixteenth_Amendment_to_the_United_States _Constitution) for the full story

what i find really amusing here, is that the OP wants to "return to the Constitution"...yet the first thing he wants to do when asked is be rid of an Amendment to the Constitution that was legally accomplished by the very rules set forward in the Constitution

now that, kiddies...is Irony

What the 16th amendment says?

Lets consult the ol' Pocket Constitution here. Lets see....is VI 4 or 6?
Ah! Here we are!
Quoth the Constitution:
"The Congress shall have the power to lay and collect taxes on incomes, from whatever source derived, without apportionment among the several States, and without regard to any census or enumeration."

The income tax was never legally founded, anybody with a sincere knowledge of history knows this. But either way, can you imagine life without it? Good luck with those highways, those impoverished falling-apart roads and hazards. Good luck trying to colonize anything outside of your backyard with no money to fund nasa. Good luck with any kind of national security. Good luck trying to have emergency response to natural disasters, etc.
