pancakes are ten times better than waffles. Here's why:
1.Simple ingredients
2.Lower calorie content
3.More diverse possibilities (blueberry, chocolate, corn, buttermilk, etc.)
4.They have Aunt Jemima on their side
5.They dont have annoying eggo commercials for them
6.Who doesnt want to sit back with some flap jacks

1) Waffles and pancakes have the same ingredients, numnuts.
2) Both are high in fat/calories. and if you use butter, maple syrup, fake maple syrup, chocolate chips, whipped cream, processed whipped cream, or really anything... you add to the overall calorie content quite a bit. don't lie, everyone puts butter and syrup on their pancakes/waffles
it's not about the calories
3) You can make blueberry/chocolate/buttermilk waffles too.
4) Who the fuck cares
5) I don't watch much tv. /irrelevant

Me :(. They are like stale pancakes. Have to really soak the shit out of them with syrup to make them edible.

I'm confused. You mean to tell me that your waffles don't turn out light and fluffy? and then you ruin them with an overdosage of syrup to make them 'edible'?
whats the world coming to.

They are hard (at least harder than pancakes) to keep their shape, I don't like the texture/taste so I OD on syrup.
Pancakes on the other hand, you don't need too much syrup because they soak it up, they are easy to cut into and just better in every way I can think of.
Personal taste, tbh.

fair enough.
both are pretty close, and it's not like I'm going to refuse pancakes. It's just that if I had a serving of both on separate plates with butter and syrup, and I had to choose 1 plate, it'd be the waffle plate.

I say to you today my friends that I have a dream, and even though we face the difficulties of today and tomorrow I still have a dream.
I have a dream that one day waffle lovers will rise up and live out the true meaning of their taste.
I have a dream that one day even the foul pit of GD, a place sweltering with the heat of idiocy, sweltering with the heat of pancake loving reposters, will be transformed into an oasis of freedom and waffles.
I have a dream that one day on the grey background of Forumfall, the sons of waffle lovers and the sons of former pancake lovers will be able to sit down together at the table of wafflehood.
I have a dream, that when all this occurs we will create a new delicacy by slaughtering all you filthy pancake lovers and frying you in bacon grease.
I have a dream, that no noob will be left alive, and no pancake lover left unfried, and in the end we will completely wipe all of you off the face of Forumfall.

Compound words are a joke. Liberate pancakes and restore the adjective status of "pan". Anyone want some Pan fries? Or perhaps some Pan chicken?

Pancakes. They are better tasting and more filling. Waffles are for failures, because they themselves fail. :sly:

You are right, they were terrible. Maybe every time I've had them the cook sucked really bad... but still, they taste 1 degree away from being stale to me.

Pancakes. I don't like my plate to be overburdened with geometrical perfection. You take your perfect little squares and sheets of perpendiculous parallograms and stick them up your waffle loving asses.

Called a waffle-making machine mate. It's quite convenient.
Oh, and waffles. I like slightly crunchy golden waffles with just a tad bit of butter and syrup. Orgasmic.

But your post didn't contain any sarcasm... Its a valid assumption that a person who has only coffee and cigarettes for breakfast would be twitchy and less productive than someone who had a wholesome and nutritious breakfast.
Please explain where the saracsm I was supposed to be detecting is?
