Cheapest gas I've seen around here is $1.339/gal.

At least this isn't another religion-atheist thread.

I had $1.60 discount per gallon of gas because of my fuel perks. I got 14.122 gallons of the top grade gas for $6.20. It's a great reward for buying my Steelers game day food at Giant Eagle

Damn, its still way up at $1.75 around where I live. I suppose that's better than the $4.30 it was costing me not too long ago though

Zyklon B is going for less than a dollar in my area. It's awesome.

And people will say "Phew! Glad that pesky gas gouge problem went away! Alternative fuels? Ride public transit? Hell NO! It is all good now!"

$1.63

When I left the country it was $4.30 when I came back it was $1.70. I'm still loling at all the morons who traded in their 2 year old SUVs they were 20,000 upside down on for shitty econoboxes.

Missouri supposedly has the lowest gas prices in the nation. I live about 15 minutes from St. Louis on the Illinois side and gas over here was 1.49 at its lowest. Its usually twenty cents lower across the river on average.

It would be 89 cents if those damn Christian Fundies didn't piss off the Middle East with their wars and bigotry! Why don't they just become agnostic already?

It varies from state to state because both the federal government and the states get their cut, which is one of the main reasons for massive price disparity between states. You can literally drive across a state's border into another state and see prices change by 10-15%.

Here is a chart of a varity of taxes by state (http://www.taxfoundation.org/taxdata/show/245.html).

Gas prices really need to stay up a little higher. Lower gas prices are great of course, but that will reduce the influence and drive for cleaner fuels, better fuel efficent cars, etc. We dont need the next Hummer H5 with 8 MPG on sale now!

its 63 cents per Litre, and theres 3.78 litres per gallon, so $2.38 per gallon, still dirt cheap. (i am in canada)

my mpg is about 7 in my camaro, (tank up alot) and it was about 15 in my vette
i love my camaro though haha
and since gas is cheap i drive and waste gas now, leave it idle in winter for a long time even, sometimes its been idling for like 40 min

No? I think OPEC already said like a week or two ago that prices will be going back up... People seem to prefer to go at this day by day rather then use this reprieve to get the ball rolling. I think people do have good memories but prefer to ignore the white elephant.

Apparently Germany's alternative energy stuff has been going badly with the world wide credit crisis and low fuel costs continue to delay their development.
