My computer was having some problems and i was gonna do a system restore to fix it but it wouldn't do it. so i got stuck having to do it as administrator BUT i didn't know the pass so i made my account admin (by doing run-cmd-net user Brian administrator) accidentally logged out (don't ask) and now i cant even get into safe mode to try to fix this so is their anyway i can somehow log on so i can do a restore to fix my pc. i didn't put a pass after making my account admin but yet its asking for one and i don't know what it is.
I cant log into administrator because i dont know the pass that was made for it. the guy who set up my pc died so i cant ask him, any way to get around it? i do not have a windows disk to reformat neither do i want to reformat.
any help is well appreciated.

You should be able to reset the password with this. (http://home.eunet.no/pnordahl/ntpasswd/)

thing is i don't have the windows cd. all i want is to remove or reset the passwords for the admin account and also my account but i cant even get into safe mode to run cmd. because the only 2 accounts (admin and mine) are pass locked and i do not know the passwords, was hoping someway around it so i can unlock it and do a system restore

Well, the point is you're not supposed to get in without a password. That's the way you configured your computer.

There's probably a way, but I don't know it, sorry.
