yer very silly...try more than one song, and if you think metallica has decent lyrics, there's not much hope...

for lyrics try this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cs36hVDImzo&NR=1)...can you say "intensity"...i knew you could

and that's really early stuff... this one (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tja6_h4lT6A) is when Maynard really starts going deep, and it goes further the more he writes, imo

How doesn't metallica have good lyrics? Maybe not as good as Tool but I can't really get into Tool, I tried and failed. Furthermore I love Pantera but Metallica has much better lyrics.

tone deaf philistine!

we'll start with something easy...

like this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QKrwvr0dbec)...

from Lemmy....all Things flow into Orgasmatron (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HnSaNfG9tV4) if you are into lyrics

I am the one, Orgasmatron, the outstretched grasping hand
My image is of agony, my servants rape the land
Obsequious and arrogant, clandestine and vain
Two thousand years of misery, of torture in my name
Hypocrisy made paramount, paranoia the law
My name is called religion, sadistic, sacred whore.

I twist the truth, I rule the world, my crown is called deceit
I am the emperor of lies, you grovel at my feet
I rob you and I slaughter you, your downfall is my gain
And still you play the sycophant and revel in you pain
And all my promises are lies, all my love is hate
I am the politician, and I decide your fate

I march before a martyred world, an army for the fight
I speak of great heroic days, of victory and might
I hold a banner drenched in blood, I urge you to be brave
I lead you to your destiny, I lead you to your grave
Your bones will build my palaces, your eyes will stud my crown
For I am Mars, the god of war, and I will cut you down.

:sly:

and you think Pantera can't do lyrics?

try these lyrics (http://www.lyricsmania.com/lyrics/pantera_lyrics_1939/cowboys_from_hell_lyrics_4807/cemetary_gates_lyrics_57314.html) that go to these sounds (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nWOM2Bed80A)
