I saw a cat lying in the middle of the road yesterday in a pool of blood with its eyeballs popped out of its head. It was still alive. For some reason people kept steering around it until one kind driver ran it over again and finished it.

What would you do if you were driving and you saw this cat? Would you put it out of its misery?

Depends on whether I saw who did it. If I did, I'd hunt them down and torture their family to death in front of their eyes before removing all their limbs. If I didn't yeah I'd finish the poor fucking thing off.

Actually, to be honest odds are better I wouldn't be able to tell whether it was alive and would just ignore it, since even with glasses on I have horrible distance vision.

Oh, that. I'm constantly in need of new glasses, I have a combination of a minor birth defect in one eye and gradually deteriorating vision. It's bloody annoying, but I hate the eye doctor far to much to go there often enough to get new glasses prescriptions.

In my opinion as an outside observer, the cat was in a fuckload of pain.

Once I drove over a frog with my bike and it took defensive stance and I thought it was in pain so I ran it over again. Then its tounge was out spasming and it was -really- dying and in pain so I had to finish it with a curb stomp. Shit sucks I probably didn't hurt too much the first time so my pity was the cause of its demise.

I would run over it, turn around, run over it again, then make a U-Turn and run it over once more just in case.

I would also let any snow plower know that that street needs an extra run-through.

well i tend to avoid road kill because I don't want animal parts stuck to my car, I probably wouldnt have been able to tell whether it was alive or dead because i'm to busy concentrating on my driving so i would probably just drive around it.

Plus if the cat was stupid enough to walk into the street then maybe it deserves to lay there for awhile and think about what it did.
