Did anyone watch this fight?

Pac-man Pacquiao went up 2 weight classes to take on Oscar De La Hoya (from 127 to 148). It went for 8 rounds, Pacquiao literally beat the crap out of De La Hoya, and most likely ended his career with this loss. At the 9th, De La Hoya chose not to get up from his corner. They took him to the hospital shortly after.

He's now 48-3.

Saw that coming, De La Hoya is older than dirt.

Damn, now I owe my friend a 6-pack of beer. I had my hopes that De La Hoya would win due to the fact that Pac had to move up 2 weight classes. :bang:

Golden boy stood no chance tbh.

I would like to see a Mayweather Vs Paq fight, may is far quicker than Hoya, hits just as hard.

I would love to see that.

Tonight's fight was just ridiculously one-sided, Manny took one uppercut to the chin in the 7th and that was it. Can't wait to see him fight again, he's unstoppable at this point.

I'm no avid boxing fan, but I did watch a Pacquiao bout a few years back (I think it was a title shot for his weight class at the time) and he fucking laid a serious beating on his opponent. It was like no fucking contest. So I would've picked him over old-shit De La Hoya, no problem.

The whole feature was a dissapointment, not one of those fights was a good fight. The first three fights end in rounds 2, 1, 2 to tko, all so short they have to waste 40 minutes hyping up how great the fight will be, then de la hoya just stands there and gets his ass beat for 8 rounds.

On the bright side, it was amusing how easily pacquiao reached between de la hoya's gloves and rocked his face with that left jab, like 45 times.

De La Hoya made a serious mistake not bulking up and taking advantage of being the bigger man... he ended up weighing LESS than Pacquiao, although he looked so sluggish and non-violent who knows if it'd of made a difference. Just glad there's no bookies where I live or I'd owe em money lol.

I can't see Mayweather beating Pacquaio, if he comes out of retirement, after that performance. Pacquaio is definitely P4P #1.

Ye but Pacquaio isnt very tough.

A few good whacks will take him out, its just landing them thats the problem.

The guy is completely unpredictable, i dont think he has any set tactics at all when he steps into the ring, he just improvises

I'm glad there's finally a Filipino more famous than Rob Schneider.
