On the Internet there are so many dumb people and you have to take each ones opinion into good consideration, with no assumptions because although difficult I've noticed people that I disagree with just repeat what they said without taking into consideration the others opinion. Like WoWplayers for example, we all know they are wrong to think WoW is good in comparison to most games but there's an endless amount of them and it gets tiring explaining to them what for you is common knowledge and basic logic.
I also hate these threads because now the stupid people are calling everyone else dumb so I indeed could be the student and not the teacher.

Ya, it's the same old thing right? Well I think I've added something extra too it and I want people to agree with me so I can feel better; does that qualify for a thread?

Sorry but it's true! I can't stop and they smell exactly like my breakfast! I've given up holding them in and I've started farting around people. I have farted 3 times typing this.
I agree

Whether world of warcraft is a good game or not is a matter of subjective opinion and you can't call opinions "right or wrong" so, that was a pretty bad example and I think you just used it so you could get the sheeply half of this forum who won't give it a rest with the whole "WoW is baaaad" deal to agree with you.
That said, in my experience there are fewer people who will admit they're wrong on the internet than there are people with vaginas on the internet.

While you may hate WoW, and think it is a bad game, that fact does not actually make it a bad game.
You cannot use logic to put loose labels on things such as games and movies, because the labels are opinionated.

Most of the time it's trolling which is why people have already caught onto this and either avoided the topic of talking about games people think are the best and make their own communities where they can control idiot posting themselves.

I'm getting this a lot and it's a cancerous thought that reels in people with a pseudo-intellectual ideas that seem smart to them but aren't.
Now why WoW sucks.
WoW players don't have much fun, like I always say 5 hours of grind for 5 minutes of fun. They may think they are having a lot of fun but it's delusions, example I once read a post how somebody resubscribed to WoW with all it's fond memories then it all comes rushing back that the game is shit, that's what WoWplayers do, they look past all the grind and see the good in it.
That's pretty undeniable although you're probably going to say it's just tastes/opinion but in return I ask you what's the base of your tastes/opinion? There has to be a reason you like to do what you do.

Yes it does, although it could be a good game to someone else, if my idea of a bad game is grinding then WoW is indeed a bad game if someones opinion is that grinding is fun then WoW is a good game but that person is definitely a devolution for enjoying the same thing over and over or having such low standards.
Edit: a devolution of original thought and workable ideas but now I'm getting too deep.

Most of WoW is fairly easy and forgiving (until you get to raid content and such) so people are able to play with friends and family in an environment that doesn't make the lesser skilled people feel inadequate and that they're holding everyone back because the game has a big enough margin of error for them to be successful regardless. Being able to progress through the game with friends and working together and cooperating to complete quests/instances is an enjoyable part of the game that I'm sure a lot of detractors never experienced and they had to group up with people they regarded as stupid tools just used to get them through a certain point of the game.
Also the first time leveling to 60 didn't feel like a grind at all to me compared to other MMORPGs, and many players don't ever get to max level with one character and then grind out epics but rather play a number of alts and just like experiencing the different playstyles of each class.
Additionally, WoW isn't that demanding in terms of having a powerful computer to play it so people can enjoy playing a current, up to date MMORPG whereas every other games are either beasts their computer can't handle or horribly played out old games with only a handful of die-hards who would pounce on and burn any newb at the stake.
So whatever, I can see how the game appeals to people and I enjoyed what it had to offer but I don't play it anymore because Blizzard seems intent on just providing more of the same except with bigger numbers attached and I don't find that interesting enough to keep paying $15 a month for but apparently other people are happy with it. Good for them, but I'm ready to move on to something totally different which is the reason I've been watching this game for the last three years.

Wouldn't an offline game with multiplayer be better for this then? What's the point of online if you're only going to play with friends because everyone else are idiots?

That's only a very small portion of the content in the game, I guess WoW sucks but playing casually levelling alts is a good fun time waster but as I was once told by a FFXI player levelling is really a solo thing, $15 for an offline MMO don't you think that could be better spent on something else and it's a bad investment?

It's all you can afford, it's all you can get, it's forgiving. Why are you here strange green man? Darkfall won't be forgiving in many aspects.

I'm sure the game doesn't just not appeal to me or you I'm sure it doesn't appeal to them either they are just a bit clueless.
Fact is humans pretty much enjoy the same things once you get down to the nitty gritty or base of their tastes and opinions unless they are aliens. It's really stupid to assume it's just their natural preference.

I was explaining how other people find the game appealing, not my own personal opinion about it but apparently the entire "seeing things from another perspective besides your own" concept flies a thousand kilometers over your head and is appears to be the basis of your annoyance and intolerance for anyone who expresses an opinion that differs from your own.

It only seems that way because I have such vast knowledge of WoW, I'm most likely correct, I've played WoW to the bones and argued it to the bones, MMOs in general too.
Edit: My vast knowledge is a bit dated but I doubt the core of the game has changed too much.
Edit: You showed me how they could enjoy it and I either agreed or told you they are wasting their time, it's hard to assume they have a good reason to play it because you can barely even give me one but there are some reasons to play WoW and I agree with some of them but a lot of people don't play for those reasons they play for arguable reasons.

I'm going to guess troll. You know, the part where he says "I have to take everyones opinion into consideration" and then says that WoW players have the wrong opinion.

Nice thread.
WoW sucks.
Except for those who have no life and want to spend their life at grinding, grinding, reading spam messages, grinding, and have fun in pvp with the pwnage (lmao) pvp system.

I like this thread. IMO WoW sucks, but my opinion's not everyone's. I don't like the game, I just ignore it. It's fine that you like to argue about WoW beeing shitty and all, but please "take each ones opinion into good consideration". Or not. Would spoil all the fun :) Keep it going
