About The Website

[Tasos]

At some point we decided to time the launch of the new Darkfall website to coincide with screenshots from our newest build. This build features graphical advancements that begin to show how good Darkfall is going to look, so we consider this an appropriate milestone to wait for. One thing led to another and here we are.

The website delay obviously doesn't affect production or playtesting schedules.

Nobody is more anxious than us to finally see this site up, and we think the wait has been worth it, so bear with us until Monday and you'll probably agree.

Anyone else extremely disappointed with the screenshots? Even taking into consideration that they're not "tweaked". The alpha screenshots were SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOo much better.... How did they manage to go backwards? Someone please.. explain.

I loved this game for the design of the gameplay, and, although it doesn't appear so, I know graphics don't make a game. But the graphics that are being shown on the new website, both in the screenshots and more importantly on the race and monster pages seem to be extremely out dated, and they were just made.

That bright shining star that DF used to be, for me, has just dwindled a considerable amount.

Of course, I'm not going anywhere yet :-D
