okay. i just received an email from some folks who say open beta begins tomorrow. that's not what i heard, can anyone else verify that open beta is begining tomorrow?
the update is pretty vague about expanding beta... they don't say "open" beta do they? or where does it say that?
i have tomorrow off and it'd be really swell if it started.

They haven't said anything like that. The update said "We'll let in more people around the 10th of November".

Wait and see, don't get your hopes up to later find out it was for nothing, you might not even get a beta key.

I think people completely misunderstand the difference between open and closed beta. If you're asking whether or not non-Aventurine affiliated normal people are going to start playing today, the answer is that there are already some of those people playing. Aventurine has announced that today, or within the next few days, they'll be sending out more invites for a new phase of beta.
Beta is still CLOSED. As in, only a select group will be allowed in based on Aventurine's testing needs. Once beta is OPEN, anyone and everyone who applies/has applied will be accepted.

Im guessing your email was from a Duchy of wessex guy?
Cos I had it too and he stated the same things, that open beta begins 10th november and it was a "call to arms" for everyone who joined to come and play alongside Wessex.

I have several jars, but you make a valid point so I will answer. Whenever I finish reading a book, I wish to never read it again, nor anyone else. After it has been fermenting in the jar for a few days, I lather each page of the book with my wastes. Then I put it on the ol' book shelf and leave it as display.

Nobody said anything about open beta. More people are going to be added to the closed beta, I don't think they are going to have your normal "open beta".
We shall see in a few hours though. I hope I am wrong and I get a nice email today.
