Well maybe I should have said everything differently. I was meaning is DF going to be the same way. What is going to stop this problem from happening?

most of the crossbow gangs were just alts made out of boredom. having one character per account in DFO will likely stop a lot of that type of behavior because people wont be able to fund such projects with a rich character.

Getting caught on your own and worrying about dying versus 10 other people? I cant think of a situation other than good tactics where you should win.

Well I just heard about DF. They are a lot of things I don't know. Hopefully I'll get lucky and get in that hard to get beta tommorow. I didn't know it was 1 character 1 account. That makes everything different and better. You make a choice and you stick to it!

Dont forget pairing that with hiding/stealth = Instant death. At least hiding isnt on this game and hopefully youll be able to spot a group like that easily.

What about everybody going into magery, and the roving bands of armorless casters shouting Corp Por, and In Vas Flam, and summoning those sword elemental things in the middle of town? Or of people casting AE's just outside of houses and the damage going through the walls? Or making all their money by doing those "Pls teleport me" npc quests? Strange thing is, in spite of all it's dumbness, I still look on UO very fondly... It's like looking at an ugly chick thru beer goggles...:p

I remember one day when some asian shard was down and they decided to zerg europe. They were marching around and I followed them to buccs. Buccs den was full of newbie chars, most of them wearing red clothing. I remember going inside a house at the doorway and just onehitting them one by one with my warhammer until they finally got to me :D
