Not tomorrow though, Asian markets are up like 6%. The dive will wait until Monday. After people actually read what Obama's policy is about.

A little up because the election is over with a clear victor, then it will start to slide into a hole as he announces or implements his socialist policies and the dollar turn into green shit. They were alteady thinking he would win unless there's a bunch of delusional McCain supporters owning stocks.

Up a bit, probably 200 points or so, as some uncertainty is now certain (which has an irrational stabilizing affect on markets.)

Soo, everyone is going to get out of the investing game because of capital gains taxes? Millionaires are going to keep their money in a piggy back next to their bed?
I guess there are places they could put their money that would still be productive and possibly bypass capital gains taxes but I have to confess my ignorance on that one.

Not sure if anyone noticed the headlines last night and tonight in the media.
Last night, when it was announced that Obama won, many of the major business news sources had headlines such as 'World Markets Cheer Obama Victory' claiming that Asian and Euro markets were up because Obama was elected.
Today, after US markets fell some 5%, there is no mention that maybe this is US markets saying the don't approve of Obama, instead the decline is blamed on persistent economic problems. WTF.

^Yeah, I did catch that. You'd think they would at least try not to appear Obamawhores.
