However, they still seemed on pace to release the game in the summer of 2009. Unfortunately, a socialist, non-US citizen muslim was able to pull a Manchurian candidate on the US and grabbed power. It was an Epic FAIL by the US.

Immediately Sharia law was imposed across the US and, now allied with Iran, the US proceeded to spread Islam across the globe as they done with McDonalds in the previous century.

What really caused the tipping point was his imposition of gun control upon the US citizens.

Fed up with such constitutional abuses, the one who became known as Matriel led a group known as The DFO Libertarians in an attempt to overthrown the Islamic US government.

The battle raged across the globe with Ninjas and Vikings everywhere taking up the cause. Unfortunately, many of them were wiped out. There was little demand for Darkfall and after 20 years of development, the developers finally caved and abandoned the project.

Although, one man still stands and fights for Darkfall and the world. . . well, you know him as your boy who wouldn't shave . . .
