im leaning for the R700 because of its Accuracy, the .50 cal may be semi auto but the Recoil is so bad it may as well be a bolt action, it takes that long to reset your aim after a shot.

Haha...I somehow thought you meant in RL...and was like - the fucking .50 cal...of which, I've never gotten the pleasure to fire, but I did see one (of the .50 cal sniper rifles) and the thing is so pretty...and huge.

For a game...i dunno. Go with an M16-A2. Nice, fast, accurate, lacks the stopping power of our enemies weapons at a range, but people whine alot after being shot no matter the caliber (if they live).

The .50 cal packs more punch, fires just as fast too. The only problem is the recoil, but that's the fun of it.

Though that very first rifle you get is pretty good if you add stopping power, not the precision rifle though.

no the noob rifle is awesomely precise, It just lacks 'stopping power' (in non hardcore games).

I prefer the Dragunov. One shot kills to the torso and head, so you can use the UAV jammer while maintaining instant lethality, unlike the R700 which requires Stopping Power. If the person fails to die (Juggernaut), the lack of recoil compared to the .50cal allows you to bring them down before they can respond. The noise from each shot is also minimal compared to the .50cal, so you aren't attracting every enemy player on the map to your location.

barret has so much kick. if you put stopping power and deep impact on the m21 its 1 hit kill anyway so i used that allot. but .50 cal is what i choose lol
