I got the bug! :)

Ok, well this is something that crossed my mind whilst reading on the WoW forums the other day - and its something we all know is true.....

btw...if you want do comixs about stuff (with lots of humor) hapenning inside DF. I remember in SB there is one. can't remember his name and they are funny. he got popular in the community and lots of ppl like it. try it. also, what happen to the fan art forums? I think that is a good forum for the community specially artist to interact and have fun.

We brought it down due to disuse, if I see a lot of artists coming around I'll be happy to bring it back though.

You should leave out the red disclaimer at the bottom man. The best comics are the ones terribly biased and opinionated. We all think WOW is teh carebear yay darkfall!

cool. maybe as the game draws near will get more artist here, I didn't know it got abused. always lurk there to see what they are up to. lots of good stuff there. even used some of them for wallpappers.

I didn't think what Pokey said was a personal insult... the comic just wasn't clever.
To make it better, I think you should scrap the whole thing, and start from scratch..

Why shouldn't carebears come to DF? Don't they have the right to play this outstanding game aswell? I don't really see the problem about them coming...

(And NO, I don't want any stupid responses about that they ask to carebearise everything, and other puberal whinings...)

just keep it to pvp and offer a couple of non-pvp servers for those who don't go out for pvp, but yes, deserve a shot at the game as well.

You don't need pvp and non-pvp servers. Everyone will co-exist in Darkfall because there's lots to do besides PvP. There probably won't be as "many" carebears as in other games, but they'll come if there's tons of cool stuff to do besides pvp.

I suppose you could call the WoW PvP servers carebear. You could label any game that requires killing thousands of monsters to gain experience and money for gear necessary to fight better, as being carebear. I'm playing WoW cause it's the best thing out right now for PvP besides Shadowbane, which sucks these days as the numbers dwindle more and more. I am eagerly awaiting DF but from what I have seen, it employs the same kill a billion mobs mentality to be able to pvp... so how is it different than anything else in that regard?


75% of my WoW playtime is PvP with 25% grudgingly given to xp so i can level occasionally.
