In opposite of america, i like heads of government, that at least have a solid programm, not just shiny TV shows impressive speeches and fancy busses that drive to every town just to represent this new politics rock star.

Really? I was unaware that the US was bombing Palestine. So, Hammas and Hezbollah want Obama elected so the US will quit bombing them?
Or maybe Iran. Iran has been sponsoring terrorists against the US since Carter's administration. I was unaware we were sending bombers over Iran, and killing their families.
I like Ron Paul, and am most likely going to write him in as my dissident vote, but anyone trying to say that we are running around and bombing families left and right thereby causing these people to become terrorist orginizations is flat out wrong. While that may hold true to a small degree in certain situations, don't try to use that as a broad stroke explanation of what causes terrorist activity towards the US. Because it is simply wrong.

No. They hope (and are right, by his own proposals) that he will be a return to Carter's philosophy of talking and crying while they do whatever they want. Iran is a SHINING example of this under Carter's administration. And Obama is proposing nothing new in the fact that he will "sit down and talk to them". I love the idiots acting like that is a new thing. Clinton did everything but stick his head between his legs and suck himself off to try to work out peace with Iran (with a much more US friendly leader at the time as well) and all that got us was an Iran that started up a nuclear weapons program.

No, this idea of terrorism is a fact observable over the past 40 years now of extremist groups fear tactics to try to keep larger and more powerful countries out of their business. Which, I am all for really. I have no problem with pull every troop we have home, and tell the rest of the world to fend for themselves. Israel doen't really need us anymore, she could wipe out almost the entire Middle East by herself. And by all means, let Iran continue it's weapon program. Eventually, Europe will have to deal with them...although they are now working with the US because the thought of a nuclear capable Iran is not making them very happy.
