i was ridin around in my car today, listen to the radio cuz the ipod ran out of juice, and i hear that they are giving out flu shots at one of the strip clubs in my area...
i thought i heard it wrong, but they played the ad again next commercial break...
me thinks gettin a needle stuck in ya while in a strip club could be a bad idea...
but i figure i should lay the idea on the forumfall table before i make any final conclusions.
and here's a link i found to prove it

"Flu shot" is just code for "Liquid aids".

Flu shots always make me sick. I stopped getting them years ago and haven't really had a problem ever since.

Conspiracy? :ohno:
No, weak immune system more likely, vaccines are just an inoculation(someone places something to grow) inside of you so that your body builds tolerance to it.
For instance people of old would purposely inject themselves with small pox in order for their body to build an immune to it. However new evidence is beginning to emerge claiming vaccines are not as great as they're made out to be.

Most people I know get sick from flu shots, even if it's just a bit. Some are in bed for a week.

Because your immunesystem is attacking the antigens, so they'll recognise it in case of a real flu attack.

Yea, everyone does get a bit sick, but I think everyone assumed you meant actually sick, rather than just feeling slightly worse than usual.

I have always been of the opinion that if you aren't old or infirm it doesn't make any sense to get a flu shot.
Influenza is not caused by a single strain of virus and therefore the shot only protects you against the particular strain that is in the shot, but you are equally susceptible to getting infected by all the other strains - at least as far as I can reckon.
As for vaccinations in general; the people who are arguing that one shouldn't take them are in*fucking*sane. Do they truly believe that the almost complete eradication of a number of virus-born diseases was *not* the result of national vaccination programs?

I feel like a fucking wreck after a flu shot. Tearing eyes (Non-stop, but only 1 eye at a time for some reason. It switches eyes every day.) that hurt like fuck, running nose and a sore throat. Sometimes a fever. Kinda gay. Without the flu shot I pretty much never get the flu.

Because your immune system is running an exercise in how to stop the flu. Also, are you very old or something?

why trust a whore in sticking something into your arm if its not heroin?

Mr.Boo would never trust this type of girls. I love my life and I don't want to die at the age of 12. :)

The she-male whores stick it in your ass, not the arm.

Flu shots weaken the immune system for all but those who already have a weakened immune system.
The idea is to boost the immune system by artificially supplying either antibodies, or more often live (but weakened) virus loads into the blood stream.
What it does is stop the body from building antibodies on its own through natural exposure to full strength viruses.
Normally this isn't a problem because they have the shot, so they don't need to be able to make their own antibodies, they already got them from the shot.
What will eventually happen however is a new flue will come out of the blue, one that the "flue shot" doesn't help against. (Maybe a cross over strain ala bird flue, maybe something out of the blue) At this point all the losers who run out and get flu shots every year will DIE in the pandemic. Those of us who allow our bodies to develop their own antibodies naturally will live (well some of us) to get sick another day.
Bottom Line: I lol at all the fools who get a yearly flu shot. :lmao:

Don't believe everything the conspiracy theorists tell you.
Flu vaccines are available both as an injection of killed virus (or flu shot) and as nasal spray of live attenuated influenza virus (LAIV) (sold as FluMist in the US).

Your body attacks the dead viruses and develops antibodies for the given strains of the virus. It's artificial stimulation of your immune system.

If the virus is dead then why do people get sick?

If the virus is dead then why do people get sick?
Your body treats the virus as if it were alive and initiates your immune response.
Vaccines also can make people very sick. Almost all people who get a vaccination do not get sick from it. Some people get a little sick. They may get fever or feel sick. This gets better in a few days. A very very small number of people can get very sick. So people see that vaccines can make people sick. But they do not see how sick more people would be if we did not vaccinate people. So they only think about the risks vaccines cause. They do not think as much about the risks of not giving vaccinations.
Bad English, but the point stands. Some people may have an over-reaction to the vaccine which causes them to get noticeably sick, but I imagine the actual virus would be much worse on said people.
