I just heard on the news that Richard Garriot, responsible for UO has arrangements for his seat to the space station. He was one of the first of extravagant passengers in line from the newly formed, space travel program being offered to the public.

Not really, but I'm trying to help you out. I like your kind, late 08'er. I am an early 08'er and I know what the pricks on here are like. They will eat you alive!:ohno:

Old news.
And if you played Tabula Rasa I think there was a lotto or some shiz that allowed you to put something or other in orbit as well... can't remember the exact details.
And yes - Richard was Lord British.

I feel the need to correct you here, you are not an early 08'er. You joined after beta was announced and the video was released.

I thought it was Richard Branson that was going to the ss. I guess I fail.
I wouldn't want to spend time in a spaceship with a bunch of Russians though.

The Virgin guy? I think he is too. He almost fell off the wing of his plane when he flew to chicago.

lawlz. at least early 08'ers (such as mahself) came before the flood, and the gameplay video, and the beta apps.
Seriously, as soon as I saw this game, I watched as many videos of it as possible (which isn't much, sadly), read up EVERYTHING, etc. I forgot some of the things, but things I didn't care about too much...

see, imho, as long as you come and read the FAQ, read up a bit on the game, and have a good attitude toward when it releases, it doesn't matter when you join.
