First of all "seperation of church and state" is not in the Constitution. This phrase if from T. Jefferson and is ment to protect religion FROM government, not vice versa.

Secondly, just because you are religious doesn't mean you cannot participate in the political system.

I could tell you that Farrakhan is not the one getting elected to the presidency, but you would ignore me anyways.

What Obama should be doing is going around the country telling people like Farrakhan that he's not allowed to support him. What kind of guy lets people who he has openly criticized voice support for him? Obama needs to learn that he not only has to denounce those that he wasn't seeking support from in the first place but also has to cut out their tongues.

First of all "seperation of church and state" is not in the Constitution. This phrase if from T. Jefferson and is ment to protect religion FROM government, not vice versa.

Incorrect. It goes both ways.

Separation of church and state is a political and legal doctrine that government and religious institutions are to be kept separate and independent from each other.[1] The term most often refers to the combination of two principles: secularity of government and freedom of religious exercise.[2]

The phrase separation of church and state is generally traced to a letter written by Thomas Jefferson in 1802 to the Danbury Baptists, in which he referred to the First Amendment to the United States Constitution as creating a "wall of separation" between church and state. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seperation_of_church_and_state)

Secondly, just because you are religious doesn't mean you cannot participate in the political system.

This is true. OP doesn't really have a point.
