..im pretty much done playing mmos
Taking all games wuz out there providing us endusers so called entertainment(wich is more the ' how can i sneak into your pocket ' attitude) into credit , this Industry is ina pretty bad shape , out of ideas and in a cloning mania .
I realy hope and cross fingers that adventurine manages to give this market a push into the right direction ..and more important ...some sweetys to the enduser who is desperate for lasting quality gameplay .Lets be clear , there aint no perfect game but from what ALL can see were hunted by ' same bull different title ' games. Said that i refer to the title of my thread ---if you guys fail im done with the ongoing mmo shit

First of all it's Aventurine, not adventurine...
Second: Darkfall will be the game you're waiting for!

Uhm... Thanks for sharing?
Anyway, I have the same thoughts: If I don't like Darkfall I will retire from playing videogames.

...........execute fanbboys publicly :D
I don't think I'll quit gaming altogether if DF doesn't provide something new and exciting, but I'll probably take a break and wait for something really revolutionary. I was at that point with EQ2 six months back when I quit playing. DF just happened to be something on the horizon that offered hope.
But lets face it, most of us are probably looking for that "first MMO" experience we had way back when with UO or EQ1 when everything was new and we were noobs and the world was shiny. I really wish someone could deliver something like THAT again. Ahhh... slogging from Freeport to Qeynos uphill in the snow both ways. Those were the days...

The Gnaked Gnome Races were the best.

Aye, I really hope it won't be necessary but thats the backup plan for our clan.

If DF fails?
As long as it's 1.5x better then WoW I'll be happy enough to keep playing.
A mmo that has no levels, no classes, full loot, no instances, skill decay, and mounted combat is easily 300x better then WoW (it's an exaturated figure, but what can you expect from a fanboy?).
Oh but if DF does fail then there is some serious manslaughter i'll be over due for in greese...because...of a...different matter.
NOBODY KEEPS ME WAITING THIS LONG ON A WOW CLONE! NOBODY!!!

I have no delusion that the game will have its entertainment value but I’m skeptical that it’s all everyone has built it up to be.
I’ve been in the forums and betas for many games before their release.
The suggestions and hopes for those games far exceeded what the game was and many players were very disappointed the games weren’t as they envisioned them.
I hope for an engaging combat and crafting system in Darkfall.
Anything else is fluff for me.

Mortal Online has a really bad chance to succeed IMO... Earthrise has a better one... although I dont think it has full loot.. has everything else tho..
obviously full loot is a huge thing however...
