I agree with the OP. I wasn't impressed with either of them. It's not that they are bad games, it's just that they aren't the kind of game that I enjoy.

Age of Conan was terrible and very unfinished, not to mention it was missing well over half its main features, and the developers lied and swindled as much as they could out of it.



WAR released with exactly what the developers said it would have. Good game. It wasn't aiming to do anything revolutionary, but it is the least WoW like game to come out in a long time. It even did some nice little innovations. (Tome of Knowledge, Public Quests)

They were. AoC reached far, then decided it was a bad idea, cut back, and fucked up the little they DID try to do.

WAR is just updated WoW. (argue as you want, this is how it feels and plays in my opinion)

war is fun straight pvp based, but i'm running on my laptop until i move into my house next month and we know how much that game pulls in RAM n this baby has 1 gig so I can't really play it :(
