What Game am I Thinking Of

Alright this is a question for console gamers. This game came out a pretty long time ago, Id say probably more than five years ago. I cant remember which system it was on, but I believe it was either Dreamcast of PS2.

In the game you piloted very primitive mechs (basically walking tanks) that generally had big cannons for their arms/primary weapons. From what I remember it was like World War 2 with slightly more advanced technology. You and your opponents took turns moving around on an overhead view of the map (I think). When you met youd generally be fighting one of these really primitive mechs and some infantry. When you fired your main weapon it would go into a scoped view where you had to press fire when the reticle was on target and there were multiple hit boxes. And it was turn based.

Someone please, tell me what the hell it is Im thinking of.

So the core gameplay is basically like Dynasty Tactics? (A fun game, by the way, though like Armored Core it gets tediously boring as it gets later in the game and more difficult, imo.)

I honestly have no idea what this game is and am absolutely certain I never played it; I'm just trying to see if I can help someone else to find it.

Well in the way you move around the map yes. But when you actually fought you zoomed down into a more detailed battlefield.

That and the mechs were much less advanced, think like you literally put a world war 2 tank on a pair of giant legs.

The main character had short white hair I remember that. Id really like to remember this it was a pretty interesting game.

that was final fantasy pokemon edition. I remember because of the reticle thing you're talking about.
