I recently got a virus, not sure how but it happened. It's name is trojan horse BHO.FEW and it's found in system32\gtbl.dll and whenever I go into my documents an error comes up and it tries to take me to a bogus antivirus site
I have avg and it says getting rid of the virus can cause crashes and problems.
So what should I do, does anybody know anything about the virus that can help?

is there any itchiness or irritation? if there's any discharge, you should probably be talking to a doctor about this.
EDIT: oops didn't read the post. that sucks man. use google.

Save what you need, reformat. Saves so much time and I always love the feeling of a fresh install.

You have to send a security strike team into the facility to reset the main computer. By reset of course I mean you have to gain entry into the chamber where it is kept and shut it down with a focused EM Pulse Emitter.
That should contain any virii.

Yeah, save your shit, and reinstall the os.
Also, to prevent future problems. (http://gallery.hd.org/_tn/std/bizarre/how-to-stop-computer-viruses-with-a-condom-on-the-modem-lead-ANON.jpg)

Boot to command prompt, then change directory to the directory it is in, then del BHO.FEW
You may find other files working with it. Once you find out their names delete them as well.
You may still need to repair any changes done to your registry.

Just sell your pc to a friend for a good markup and buy a new one.

Or you could kill your friend and take their computer.

Technically the Latin plural of virus is virus, so the English plural is either virus or viruses (the latter is more common).

Virii sounds so much better though.

Thats all nice and good till you pass the 100GB mark. once you get to 600 GB+ the thought of reinstalling is painful.

I know, you never disappoint on your dedication to your selfgrafted stereotype. Honestly I was a tad sad that you didnt find a way to work a math problem in here though.
