I'm trying to find some more info on the combat mechanics. I understand that we have tons of skills to choose from and a limited amount of skill points.
The latest video shows a lot of Matrix-like jumping, where players could just 10-20 feet high in the air. What are some other colorful skills that you know of or noticed in the video?
For combat, I'm hoping they add in some advanced movement techniques - e.g., double-tap dodging, leaping, and/or rolling etc.

I dont remember seeing anything like that in the video, mostly people being blown back by spells and such though. I dont think there will be anything very advanced like what you talked about, but if there is then cool beans. I just hope that combat isnt a giant button mashing fest. :)

I would not agree with the limited skill point statement. This is an incorrect assumption from people who think this is UO2
Yes jumping is a big part but I believe the movement related skills will be more passive. Things like reducing the slowing effects of heavy armor. And perhaps the block/parry movement has a skill added to up the % damage reduction. Breathing under water might be another. But I dont expect the Aria game type gymnastics. Just the jump which happens to add to your damage output if you do it right ;)
No one jumped 20 feet in the air. They dropped 20 feet.

There's this alfar that casts a spell that raises him in the air... in a tree...

Well that's not jumping now, is it?
