In the works, Remote "canceling" of your ability to record .
Total disabling of your DVR or computer (graphics cards) For weeks
in the prerelese time frame of movies or Tv shows in the new digital format.
All at the Will of the studios (Sony, Warner, Universal, Etc).
Its a new feature (control) in the forced High definition upgrade(s).

All ready Government officials are being (bought) er Lobbied to pass this

Most DVRs already have code which allow your cable company or a network to put a time limit on how long you can keep a show in your video archive so it was only a matter of time before this happended.. I personally us a PC as my DVR which is immune to that kind of shit...
